He fell into a disturbed sleep quickly, holding her tightly.
"Very."
She looked down at him thoughtfully, her gaze alert despite having just woken. "Hey, Warns," she replied quietly, pulling her hair back.
He nodded quietly, still holding her tightly, as if he would never let her go.
He rested his hand on her back, stirring the oatmeal. "I think it's ready," he said after a moment.
She looked down at them thoughtfully before standing up, stretching with a yawn.
"I don't really want to talk, if that's okay," he said quietly. "I just want to sleep."
"I mean it."
Addie woke up first, sitting up on her arms and looking down at the two of them.
He didn't say anything, keeping his head buried in his shoulder as he fell silent.
"I adore you," he responded calmly.
Addie was fast asleep the next morning, her arms around Sariel's waist.
He slipped his arms around her waist, burying his face in her shoulder.
"Fine. I can accept that."
