She looked up at him, her brows furrowed.
He shook his head slightly. "You're acting like you're afraid of me."
She frowned. "It'll go by quick."
"Then why are you acting weird?" he asked, following her.
She frowned slightly. "It'll be okay."
"Yes there is," he said, sounding annoyed. "You're keeping it from me."
She set them on the table, looking back at him. "You okay?"
He followed her. "Why won't you just talk to me?'
She kissed his cheek and began getting out plates. "Yeah."
He looked unsure. "Well? What's wrong?"
She relaxed a little. "Great.:
He frowned at her. "I think there is."
"I know how to cook," she said defensively, taking over the kitchen. "I just thought we would eat together."
He sat up, crossing his arms. "You're changing the subject."
He was watching her intensely. "You.. you tensed. Like I was going to hurt you, or something."
He noticed her reaction, and his expression looked hurt. "What was that?"
He pulled away, staring at her. "Absolutely not."
