He moved to put his bag back together, rubbing his eyes silently.
"No, they told me to keep my distance.. But I wanted to hug you."
Zerras didn't quite realize she was awake, and sat up with a small yawn.
She looked up at him with a small smile. "The queen told me not to."
They woke the next morning, the fire having gone out.
She grinned, burying her face in his chest. "I'm not supposed to be hugging you."
(Zoop?)
She sighed slowly. "I missed you, Ben."
It took a surprisingly short amount of time for him to fall asleep.
She hesitated before coming over and gently hugging him.
He laid back again, turning over and closing his eyes.
She nodded at them. "Okay."
His frown deepened, and he nodded slightly. "Right.. Sorry."
Cal folded her arms, looking nervous.
He noticed and frowned, propping himself up. "Are you okay?"
She nodded slightly, watching him from a distance. "Yeah."
"A little," he admitted, stretching out. "Are you?"
She followed behind them all, looking anxious.
He laid down, looking over at her. "Thanks."
Cal glared at the guards but didn't say anything, crossing her arms.
