4 More Weeks of Season 4 How do you feel about knowing that Season 4 is coming close to its finale? Plus, after the finale, it will probably be a 7-8 Month Wait until Season 5. Thoughts/Feelings?
Rainbow Rocks will make the hiatus not so bad similar to what the original Equestria Girls movie did.
The movie does help ease the pain, despite the lack of ponies in them. Plus we usually get quite a few fan made projects in the break. I'd say the main thing that grinds my gears is the need to over-analyse Season 4.
Aww why'd you have to bring this up, I was quite content in my self-induced delusion that the season was just starting. Seriously though, it's sad seeing it coming to a close, this season has been awesome, and it feels like it's gone by in a flash. I think part of what made it so fun for me, was that it was my first season with the community (if somewhat remotely). Watching the chat while waiting for each new episode, then coming here and reading what everypony thought of it afterwards, has just been a blast. But knowing that at least we are getting a season 5 is keeping the end from being too much of a downer, plus Rainbow Rocks will help. While not a big fan of Equestria Girls, I liked it, and it'll be interesting to see how they continue it. The rest of my pony fixes will probably come from community content, which I've been meaning to check out for ages, but things just kept coming up. Also I've resisted re-watching season 4 too much, so I'll be going over that a few times trying to catch everything missed the first time around. Finally I'd like to be more active in the community, maybe make some more brony buddies, and if I get the guts, find a convention/meet-up in my area. That should fill the void a bit. Yeah the wait will definitely stink, but if it means the next season is as good or greater then this last has been, it'll be worth it. Knowing that makes it all that much more bearable I think.
Meh. Watching each episode on Saturday is beginning to feel like a chore. I won't be too distraught, or at all when it comes to a conclusion. I thrive off of the fan works more than the actual show, honestly.
Yea I gotcha, I'm making a bit of an assumption that they had done S4 more ahead of time since it's got a more important story. So it's just hopefully they will have EqG2 done before they begin S5 AND make it a full one, if they haven't started production phases already. I'm just a skeptical person is all. Hope I will be incorrect though.
To be truthful, I'm ecstatic we still have that long left of this season! Seriously-- it's amazing how much longer this season has actually felt for me after last season! That being said, we're in for another long hiatus! At least we will have stuff to hold us over. If you don't absolutely loath the concept of EQG, we have Rainbow Rocks in the fall. Plus, we have the seven remaining shorts for it which will probably be released at regular intervals over the next many months until then. Plus, don't forget about the comics and the books that will continue to be released over the summer! If you haven't looked into the comics yet, I highly recommend them!
