Muffins for the reasons listed above. I like chuncks of fruit over frosting. I can only eat one cupcake but I can eat lots of muffins. Muffins at least have some nutritional value. Muffins also come in a much larger variety.
Firebreeze was chained against the wall in a dark and damp dungeon. He was slowly regaining consciousness when he saw a blurred imaged of what appeared to be another pony, but he couldn't quite make out who it was, "Hello...?" He said.
"Firebreeze, is that you?" called Snow. She felt the cold metal chains around her hooves, keeping her next to the wall, but if the was Firebreeze, it might be a little more tolerable.
He tugged on the chain on his right front hoof and noticed it was loosely attached to the wall, "Not exactly..." He said, "Maybe with enough force..." He began to tug even harder until his hoof was free. "Alright, we're one step closer..."
"Hmm." Snow started thinking, "They enchanted this chamber to where I can't do anything but basic levitation, but... Can you see two slender pointy objects from where you are?"
"Describe to me their location, if I can visualize the location, I can grab them with my magic and might be able to pick the locks on these chains."
"I was gonna suggest a rock, but I like your idea better. Alright, they're about a foot or so in front of me... They kinda look like nails... They're also next to a couple rocks..." Breeze said, trying his hardest to describe the nails' location/
Snow sighed, "That will have to do." She imagined the location according to Firebreeze the best she could and after a couple tries, managed to get ahold of them. "Aha!" she brought the objects to her and got to work on the chains. It took several minutes, but she managed to get the chains off, she then did the same with Firebreeze, much faster this time as she had become reaccoustomed to it and the locks were all the same. After the last chain came off with a satisfying click, she decided to ask, "Well now what?"
Firebreeze walked over to the bar door of the cell and reached to the outside to find out that it used a padlock. "We've got two options, you can try and pick this padlock, or I can hit it with a rock."
"Well picking it is going to be more steathy, and the last thing we need is a loud noise waking any guards, so I will try to pick it." Snow went over to the padlock and after several nail biting minutes, she was able to get it. Snow slowly pushed the cell door open, "Come on, once we leave the cell it will be a lot easier on us."
Snow lead Firebreeze as carefully as she could through the prison, silently thanking whoever was up there that her husband was a special agent who taught her some tricks of the trade. Eventually, they found themselves at a dead end with only one door, "I don't like this, too perfect for an ambush." she whispered.
"Then we'll fight. Nothing new, right? Here, I'll go first." Fire whispered back, making his way to the door.
Firebreeze opened up the door and walked in, and then backed out in horror. He turned to Snow and whispered, "That was the guards' sleeping quarters!"
Snow's eyes widened in fear, then suddenly got an evil look about them, "Prey is at its weakest while it sleeps." she said menacingly, it's been too long since she last had a good fight.
"Usually i'm all for a good fight, but this might not be the only guards' quarters. It could be all too easy to get cornered in this place... I don't need to die today, or tonight... What time is it?!" Fire said back.
