In a land across the water from the great pony nation of Equestria, there lies yet another powerful equine nation, based on the focus of technology over magic, that magic should only be used to complement and complete otherwise purely scientific innovations; The nation of Avos. Avos is quite unlike Equestria, it is expansionist, warlike, and progress driven, determined to take power by force. However, recent events in Avos have come to be reported in Equestria; refugees have suddenly began arriving by the boatload not from the nations Avos was currently crushing underhoof, but instead from Avos itself. Reports have lead to several possible causes, the most likely of which; mass civil war that the Avos aristocratic government was likely trying to brutally win, just like in all their wars. Normally, the affairs of Avos have not concerned Equestria due to the distance between the nations, but a troubling message has recently reached the Equestrian royal family; Not only was it a detailed outlining of equine rights abuses and vicious war crimes on every side of Avos, and that it was evident for the majority of the parties with Avos, the continent they were living on was simply too boring to contain their ambitions, and plenty had outlined Equestria and/or one of her allied nations as the next target after obtaining power. And finally; an expeditionary party from a coalition of big Equestrian parties, namely from the powerful Mark Corporations and Industries, had been lost. Several important civilians of Equestria were now lost in the hellhole of the Avos Civil War, and their survival and extraction is vital to the Equestrian economy. You are part of the team hoof-picked by Celestia to go to Avos with two objectives; A): Find the exploratory party and B): Try to help negotiate a peaceful end to the Avos Civil War and try to make sure that it's a party with no intentions on Equestria in a position of power if possible. This mission must be carried out in a quick and timely manner or the circumstances could be..quite dire...And every decision you make will play a part in deciding the future of Equestria, Avos, and the entire world...
