Most forums I've been a member of (music / games one) have all had real back chat & a general nasty feel unless your part of the forums in crowd - but not here So thanks :derpe:
That's the reason why pretty much everyone is on here, the loving community really doesn't want to let you go. It's been nice to have you around, and I personally like you for the music you create. Just if you people continue as you are right now, this place will stay. If we find a couple of trolls, it might get corrupted. Report stuff that is inappropriate, and we'll fix everything.
I can picture that avatar of his saying, "EEE-yup!" I, too, am amazed at this place. I've only been on a few other forums - mostly science related - and it's interesting how often people on them would say, "Go buy a book," to my questions! It seems that even on those sites, a clique would form, and they thought it "cool" to keep the noobs out. We must make certain that never happens here, and it takes a group effort, people. Like Testyal said: "Rule Number 1: Love and Tolerate." And when Rule Number 1 fails - go back to Rule Number 1. Cliques are going to form - the musicians will hang with the other musicians, the writers hang with the other writers, the artists will hang with the other artists - but we got to remember, we wouldn't like it if we went to another group and they said "go buy a book," so when some one from outside our personal group comes to us, we must take them in, and show them around.
Amen to what Jaret said! ;p The problem on most of forums is in the desperate leap to popularity, trolls get in and before you know it they outnumber the decent people and well... it becomes a nasty horrible place and the nice people leave. Let's not have that happen here :s
