Staro walked out of his house with thoughts of a new adventure he could persue and take. Taking his first steps forward he walked in the streets of Penopiville home of many treasure hunters and bandit ponys of all sorts. As he was strolling through when he noticed some thing that cause his eye. It was a poster of a gem, usually in the town ponies wouldn't leave poster or tell other ponys of treasure they would just find out and explore the duegeon and find the treasures themselves. Staro steped up to face the poster and read it *Help Needed: valuable treasure item* Staro looked at the poster and said "Not much description, but the gem looks like a keeper." A earth pony with a gray mane walked out of the house that the poster was posted on and said "Well it looks like you interested, in that jem, becuase i know the look of an adventurer" the old pony gave smile and Staro said " It look's really nice and must be really valuable, why would you post it when you could get the gem yourself." The old Pony look at Staro with a slightly agrivated look and "Well if I wanted it myself I wouldn't have posted it here.wouldn't I!" Staro backed away and said "allright but whats in it for me." The old pony looked at Staro and said "well when I was a young pony myself I was in a guild, a guild of adventurers they were. We all shared our treasure and made a lot of money from the findings..." the old pony paused and looked down sadly and said "but we got old and couldn't really find anymore treasure, but with time passing I thought of a way the guild could live on." the old pony pointed at the poster "i thought if i could put up a sign i could atract adventurers from all over to go on this adventure together and find this gem, and start a new Adventure guild together." Staro was amazed but the story and replied "So where is the gem located" the old pony said let me just add it on the poster. Just then the old pony then pulled a slip of paper with writing on it and stuck it on the wall. As he did that staro read "Avento Palace." thinking for a moment Staro said "Isn't that east of here past the forest and mountains. The old pony nodded his head and with that responce he began to leave for home to get some supplies and tell his pet Leoshine about his new desination of interest. Staro then turned around to face the old pony again and ask "so whats your name?" The old pony look at him with a grin and said "Spitfire the finder" with that said Staro headed home to start the adventure.
Rashall skirted the edge of Ponyville thinking of something to do. Thing was he didn't really like going into town if he couldn't avoid it. At that moment Azure his Phoenix friend appeared the blue fire bird squawked and pointed east with one of its wings. "So somepony is heading east then? Very well then lets see if we can't help them." says Rashall to his fiery friend, with that he heads towards the eastern part of town to wait.
Kamlin was just re-shelving the books from the romantic section, "Ugh... Curse you Romance books you are my only weakness," he said in a low voice, he finished re-shelving to see his friend Rashall and that Phoenix Kamlin shudders and remembered the last time that he might that eagle. "So many flames," he shuddered he looked at this back and covered a small burnt part of his coat. He exits out and greets Rashall "Hey! Were you going?" Kamlin questioned.
Rashall turns around to see his friend Kamlin, "Oh just going east, care to come along?" he asks, "Or would you rather stay here with those Romance books?" adds Rashall snickering.
Kamlin glared at Rashall but turned back into his bland self, "sure i'll come along," he said, "nothing to do here anyway,", he looked at the Phoenix in a worried glance and started walking east talking about their day.
Staro bursted through the front door of his house making a loads slam noise that made his pet and assistant Leoshine the flyon jump out of bed and hit the floor. Shooked and startle from the crash Leoshine yelled "WHAT THE HAY?!?! WHY ARE BURSTING THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR FOR!?!?" Staro ran into his study and pulled out a few item's and put them into a saq. Leoshine walked in to the study with a strongly aggitated look and said "So why did you burst in like that and wake me up! I was having a wonderful dream about flying and soaring." Staro looked at the cub and said "Listen! i just found out about an adventure that i couldn't pass up. It is urgent that i hurry and get to this palace." after that being said Staro loaded the saq and set it on his back. Leoshine gave a more irritated look and said "It so urgent that you nearly had to break the door down! and what this palace you were talking about?" Staro looked at the Leoshine and said "It's the Avento Palace its east of here, and theres a gem that is very interesting." Leoshine said "do you need me to go with you, i can help!" Leoshine smiled brightly Staro looked at leoshine with a confused look and said " I will never get how you can go from being irate to completely happy in two minute's, you will always be a mystery to me Leoshine, and yes you can come with me." Leoshine nodged Staro playfully and said " YES!! another fun mission haha!" Staro smiled and said "yeah yeah, just don't get your tail caught in the doorway like last time." After the two friends smiled at each other they both left the house and lauched into the sky's heading east towards Avento Palace.
Rashall stood in the shade of a lone tree on a hill overlooking the road east from ponyville. He finally spotted what he was looking for a pony rushing east. "Come on Kamlin I've found the pony we where looking for." says Rashall taking off before his friend can catch up, while Azure flew besides him in the air. Even though he was a Pegasus pony Rashall liked to run and walk, but if need be he could fly very fast.
Kamlin tried to follow Rashall but was barley catching up with him he looked up to see two ponies flying in the air that is what Rashall is chasing for "Rashall! Use your Phoenix to get hose two ponies to stop!," Kamlin yelled. He was starting to run out of breath fast, "Hurry!" Kamlin yelled.
As the two we soaring through the sky Leoshine noticed the determined look that Staro was giving the whole time. Leoshine said "so why are you worked about a gem anyway." Staro looked at the cub and stoped on a cloud. Leoshine quickly did a 180 in the sky and sat down with Staro on the cloud. "Every sense i was a young pony I have always dreamed of finding treasure and going on adventures, because my parents always gave me books about all these adventurers of guilds and bandits. I was so amazed by them that i was determined to one day meet a group of ponies and have us be a guild. that way we could go on all sorts of adventures and explore new areas and lands together just like the ponies in the books I read did." Leoshine looked at him "you are already a seasoned adventurer i bet your dreams will come true someday heh heh through adventuring you found me didn't you heh heh." Staro smiled brightly and said "yeah haha that i did." the both laughted together on the cloud.
"Finally caught up to them." says Rashall as he stops under the cloud the two where under. He uses his wings to hover just under the cloud listening to the conversation.
Kamlin looked at Rashall flying up towards the cloud he sighed and sat down onto the grass, he looked into his pack and ate some apples and drank some cider while reading one of his favorite romance novels.
After laughing Staro said " so Leoshine i made a map and here is where the temple should be. " Leoshine quicky added "so will there be lot of traps *sigh*" Staro look at the cub and then looked at the map again "So we can head out first thing tommarow that way we can see our way while we are trav-" Leoshine imidiatly shooshed Staro and said "I think i hear wings flapping, you know how sensitive my ears are." Leoshile looked all around and then poked his head through the clouds and was immeditaly startlied by Rashall who was hoovering under the cloud. In Leoshine's fright he kicked Staro off the cloud and Staro hit the ground right in front of Kamlin. some of the items in his sack fell out of the sack and scattered on the floor.
"Sorry to startle your friend there." says Rashall as helps Staro up, "Azure here tells me you are heading to the east on some journey?" asks Rashall.
Kamlin was instantly startled when a pony came out of nowhere and landed right in front off him, "Oh gosh!," he yelled, "What the heck is wrong with you you almost killed me!". Kamlin noticed that some of his stuff has gone out and he picked up a flyer he looked at it and his eyes widened "Wow! Look at that gem!," he said, "That can make any pony's dream come true!,".
As Staro was helped up he looked Rashall and smiled, He had hit his head from the fall and was a little dizzy "I-It's no p-problem.. *Staro shakes head* Yes.. Azure was right i am heading east on a mission to find a gem, it on a flyer in my bag" Staro noticed Kamlin looking at the flyer and then he pointed his hoff towards it. "That flyer right there." Leoshine flew down and asks "Staro are you alright." then Leoshine notices Kamlin and Rashall "Who are you ponies?"
"Rashall Firemane's the name and this of course is Azure my friend. I was wondering if I could tag along on this little venture, if you don't mind that is." asks Rashall.
Kamlin looked at the pony and it was actually Staro that they were chasing and suddenly looked at some pony who came out of nowhere also, "Shesh! What is with all of these ponies coming out of nowhere," he said, "Oh and I am Kamlin I own a book store in ponyville,". He walked towards Rashall and gave him the flyer "look at it!," he said, "It is pretty big right?!,".
Leoshine said "I'm not a pony i am a flyon cub it a Lion with wings apperently.. that what Staro told me, and don't worry i don't bite im quite friendly." Staro looked at leoshine and said "and loud at times too." Staro looked at everypony and said "You guy are welcome to join me on this expedition, i would love to have a few new friends on this journey." Staro looked at all his items on the floor and began to pick them up.
Staro picked up all the scattered items that were on the ground and then showed Rashall the map. "Rashall this is the destination..It's located in the middle of this forest i marked down. I believe it's called the Gumbo Rumbo Forest." Leoshine looked at Rashall and asked "So are you an adventurer too like me and Staro."
