Name: Nightfury Race: Unicorn Age: 18 Gender: Male Description: Nightfury has a black coat and green eyes.His horn is also black and rounded at the top.His mane is red with orange tips.He has a scar in the shape of a X on the left side of his face. Personality: Nightfury is very destructive due to the fact that he can create fire with the use of his magic, and he is also very charismatic and persuasive. For example, one time he was able to convince a pony to get him a rose bud, and the same pony grabbed the plant and gave it to him. This unicorn is also very secretive and is not exactly the friendliest pony that you will find. He is very smart, which is evident due to his grades in school, and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Backstory: Nightfury was born and raised in the small town of Ponyville, to a loving family.He attended school at the age of 5, and he excelled in his science and English classes. Nightfury also learned the levitation spell from his father, who was a unicorn. His mother, who was also a unicorn and one of his teachers, helped him in any of the other classes that he was having trouble in. He is an only child. During his school years, he kept to himself most of the time which caused him to not have very many friends.At the age of 15, he tried out for the Celestial guard, but he didn't make the cut because of a pegesus with red eyes and a cyan colored coat had ranked just above him. About three months later, Nightfury volunteered to join Luna's guard, but the same pegesus that stopped him from entering Celsetia's guard, had already taken the last position. Outraged, Nightfury challenged the pegesus to a duel of swords and the winner would become a royal guard. The battle ended with the cyan pegesus giving Nightfury his x scar and winning the battle. After the ordeal, Nightfury ran deep into the everfree forest and swore revenge on the pegesus, who he later found out was Tempest through the use of a newspaper, that had stopped him from entering the royal guard not once, but twice and anypony that he ever cared about in his life. Cutie mark: A ball of flame CM story: While on one of his walks through the forest at the age of 16, Nightfury looked up to see that it was getting dark, so he decided to make a fire by rubbing sticks together. When that didn't work, he got frustrated and used his magic on the sticks, which caused them to burn. Due to the fact that he had never seen this before, Nightfury used his magic on the flame and found out that he could control fire. When the morning sun rose, the pure black unicorn found out that his special talent was controlling fire. This was evident due to the fact that his cutie mark was a ball of flame. (2) Name: Tempest Gender:Male Age in pony years: 28 Species: Pegasus Gender:Male Description: I am a oceon blue Pegasus with a black mane and tail. I also have blood red eyes and red streaks that run up the back of my wings.(see avatar for picture) Backstory: I was born in Ponyville to Magnolia and Storm Caller. At the age of 3, I went to Ponyville Elementry school and attended school their for about 5 years. At the age of 18, I decided to move out of my parents house so I rented a house in Canterlot. While I was there, I joined Celestia's royal guard. This meant that I had to go wherever Celestia went, so for example, if she went to Ponyville I would escort her there. When hen Luna returned I volunteered to switch over to her royal guard. When my shift as a guard was over,I would visit Ponyville to relive some of the good memories that I had, as well as catch up with some friends from school. Cutie mark story: Before I became Celestia's guard, I found out that my talent was protecting others. I noticed this this talent when I saw some pony trying to hurt a blond colored pegasus with blue eyes while I was on one of my nightly jogs in Canterlot. I looked around for any of the royal guards, but since I was probably the only pony within 100 feet of the ordeal I took action into my own hands and was able to make enough noise to scare off the pony that was attacking the Pegasus.After this,I took the Pegasus to the hospital.During the time that she was recovering, I noticed that my flank had a mark on it which resembled a broad shield, which resembled me protecting others. Personality:I try to protect those that are in danger and my allies, as you can see from my cutie mark.I am loyal to my friends and Luna.I would never betray them to get a better position in life.I am also very outgoing and try my hardest to make new friends, by trying to know what there likes and dislikes are. My main trait is that I can sometimes be a little short tempered. This usually happens when somepony threatens my friends, or Princess Luna. (3) Name: Dark Opal Nickname: Opal Species: Dragon Age: 3 Gender:Female Description: Opal is a quadrapedial dragon, which means that she walks on all fours.. Her wingspan as of now is a foot from the tip of her wing to her main body, but she still can't fly.At the end of each wing, a small claw, which is about a inch long, grows at the top of the wing. She has blue eyes.Opal's scales are pure black on most of her body. The scales on her stomach are the color of pure silver. On her hind legs, Opal stands about three feet tall. The claws on Opal's feet are starting to form at this age. Backstory: When she was just an egg, a cyan pegasus named Tempest found Opal lying in the middle of a clearing in the everfree forest. At first, Tempest wanted to just walk past the egg, but something, most likely his conciousness, told him that taking the egg back to his home in Ponyville would be the right thing to do.After putting some nearby vines and leaves in his saddlebag in order to give the egg a soft surface to rest on and making sure that the egg it's self was secure, the cyan pegasus flew into the air and headed for Ponyville. Soon, Tempest landed in the small town and quickly entered his house. After days of keeping the egg over warm coal and fire, a crack formed in the egg. A pure black dragon, who Tempest named Dark Opal due to her pure black scales, fell onto the soft floor. Her gaze fell onto Tempest, and since he was the first thing she saw, Opal labeled Tempest as her 'father'. Tempest decided to raise the dragon, but he hasn't shown her to any other ponies. This is mainly due to fear for the life of the young dragon. When Opal turned 1, her wings first appeared. Personality: From what can be told so far, Opal is extremely trusting in Tempest,due to the fact that he acts as a father towards her. When it comes to other ponies, however, the young dragon is extremely cautious because she doesn't know what they may do to her. Opal is also quiet due to the fact that she hasn't learned to talk yet, but she can communicate through low growls. She uses this to express her emotions For instance, a deep, passive growl, means that she is content and happy. Opal is also somewhat athletic on the ground due to the fact that she can't fly. She can sprint at a regualr speed of 5 mph. (4) Name: Ivy Gender: Mare Age: 24 Species: Unicorn Description: Ivy is a silver coated unicorn with a dark green mane. Her horn is somewhat like Celestia's in the sense that is is very slender, but it is significantly shorter.Her eyes are also a rich chestnut color. Backstory: Ivy was born to two unicorns and raised in Canterlot. Her parents were very loving and cared about her well-being, as much as her education. While she was in Canterlot, she was home-schooled by her mother in botony, as well as several other subjects such as math and English.The time that she didn't spend with her mother, was spent taking lessons in magic from her father, until the sun went down. These lessons were focused mainly on the levitation spell, and like all of the other unicorns who were still learning, she had a learning curve. This consisted of her not really learning from watching someone do it for her, and not explain it to her in detail. When she finally got past this, she quickly excelled.After her lessons were done, she would practice controlling her magic in a nearby field, until it was midnight. When she was 16, she moved to Ponyville to open up her own plant nursery. Ivy lives in a house that is located behind her store, and she still practices controlling her magic every night in a field near her house. Cutie mark(Ivy POV): One day, when I was practicing at controlling my magic as well as the spells that my father had taught me, in the field near my house in Ponyville I tried to use my magic on the plants that were in the surrounding area to see if my magic would have any effect on them. After several failed attempts, I finally made a large patch of rose's appear at my feet. I then tried to make other plants grow as well, which consisted of mainly of small flowers and some vines of poison ivy. That was when, I discovered that my cutie mark, which was a plant sapling rising out of the ground, appeared on my flank. I assumed that this meant that my talent was growing plants, and I now use this power to help the plants in my nursery grow faster. Personality: Since she was home schooled until the age of 16, Ivy is mostly seclusive and isn't that social with other ponies. However, when she does make a friend, Ivy is loyal to them for life.Ivy is also self-sacrificing and will never do anything mean for personal gain. Extent of powers : Ivy is somewhat skilled in the use of magic and also plants.The only plant's that Ivy cannot control and grow; however, are the ones that are naturally found in the everfree forest.
