Has been around since Ancient times. Extremely light, extremely durable, and can potentially turn a Ryborian into a one man army if used correctly. Barely taller than an Equestrian mare, white coloured coat. Personality: Intelligent and sometimes playful, focused to achieve her goal in battle. Background: Alexia was only a teenager when the creatures invaded the mainland, watching her world be destroyed by the endless hordes of invaders destroys or enslave anybody they made contact with. As these creatures either killed or enslaved anybody she ever loved, she quickly decided to join up in a resistance movement. During her first days in the movement, she met an incredibly old yet experienced Ryborian elder who used to serve in the Crimson Rose, the personal bodyguard and hyper-elite special operations unit for the Eriborian (Ryborian Emperor) of Ardelan. After plenty of combat training with the old master, she was fit for combat and participated in plenty of missions. Around a hundred years later, she has become a major figure in the Alliance and possesses an incredible skill with her weapon, the old masters Spell-Sword which she inherited after his passing. She has taken it upon herself to vanquish this evil from the world, and won’t rest until the evil is destroyed. Race/Species Name: Ryborian Physical Description: Barely taller than Equestrians by a few inches. Always have a light pale coat and have a red eye colour, although different coloured eyes are rare. Usually have dark coloured hair, with bright coloured hair also being rare. Strengths: Superhuman physical abilities. Highly skilled in combat and other professions due to their long lifespan. Will fight to the death and are known to never retreat from battle, the only time you see their backs is when they are dead. High Intelligence Weakness: Pregnancy’s are triple in length than Equestrians and take almost three years, resulting in a generally low population. Don’t mature until 50 years of age. Age rapidly during the last 500 years of their life (Although they have the physical appearance of a 75 year old at this point). Lifespan: Around 4000 years. Nation Name: Ardelan (Formally known as the Covenant of Ardelan) Spoiler: Flag Culture:The Ryborians have been around for enormous amounts of time, millions of years before others. It wasn’t until the previous 40,000 years that the Ryborians fled their original homeland to Ardelan. The Ryborians are known to be deeply spiritual and are often in their gods, The Nine Divines, the most prominent being the Goddess of Creation and Life, Sihana. The Ryborians are also easily offended when insulted when someone offends their religion. Their society, other than having their religion in every nook and cranny of it, are known to be very friendly and polite. Discipline is also a major part of their culture. Environment: A nation roughly the size of France, it is an environment that combines the frozen tundra’s to the northeast and a wealth of natural resources in the form of plains, rivers and large forests. Practically impossible to invade from the north due to the world’s largest mountain pass, infamously known as ‘The Black Pass’, being located there with mountains between nine to ten kilometres high. Background: Ardelan was formerly uninhabited until 40,000 years ago after previously being a barren wasteland. The ancient Windarian Empire that once covered almost half the globe more than a million years ago and named after the original homeland of the Ryborians, Windaria. Approximately 40,000 years ago, Windaria suffered a sudden ice-age that almost completely wiped out the entire race. The survivors led an exodus to a new land and came into contact with Ardelan and settled there. Unfortunately, the few Ryborian survivors almost had to restart their entire civilization. Over time, Ardelan became a global superpower and was one of the very last nations to fall and an essential member of the Alliance.
