And I said, "20% Cooler".

So the other day I was asked to help teach a class on boating safety at a local boat store. As I was teaching this class of rather mundane boat owners I managed to work in 20% Cooler. I think the next class I will try and work in the fun has been doubled. I'm sure no one in the store caught the reference, but it was fun to slide it in anyway.

This got me thinking, has anypony else been able to "slide in" MLP references to the rather mundane non-brony types just for fun? You know maybe at class, work, or slide it by your parents. I'm not sure what I'd do if someone "caught" the reference.

I managed to slip in the word "clopping" in an English lesson. The bronies in my class started laughing, which caused the non-bronies to start laughing. My english teacher had no idea what was going on.

I occasionally whistle various MLP songs at work. I don't think anyone knows they're from my little pony. :p

I say Eeyup and Okie Doke Lokie around my friends, but they don't know I'm a brony so they don't realize what it's from. :derpe:

I did that once when a friend asked me about *ahem* over ponies. I said no, and "anyway that's called clopping". He typed it in on Google Images because he's an idiot, and the administrator wasn't too pleased.

    ::S:

If somepony says that something's been doubled, I usually say "The fun has been doubled" stuff like that. One of my friends has taken to religiously brohoofing me every day despite not being a brony.

Although sometimes it's my non-brony friends making the references. An anti-brony threatened my brony friend and said he'll send him to the moon. We just looked at each other awkwardly.

I just hum the songs in public, hoping I come across another brony.

    List of refrence time!
    1) Bro-hoof non-Bronies who have NO idea
    2) Make out as much refrences from non-Bronies from the show as possible like: Sonic! (it was at the time of a rainbow a friend of mine shouted out Sonic.)
    3) Whistle and sing MLP songs in public. Sometimes others trie to join in *tee-hee*
    4) Shout down the mic of my laptop on skype... THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!
    5) Made refrence to all of my OC's at one point or another.
    6) Go up to people, go "Say hello to my little-" and then look over to the corner or the sky as if something happens followed by me doing section 3) of this list!

When my school's theatre company put on "Macbeth", we used dry ice during the famous witches' scene, where they mix the potion in the cauldron ("double, double, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble", etc). I was backstage making "20% Cooler" and "The toil and trouble have been doubled" jokes the whole time.

I like to sing fan made songs in public. I also use "Okie dokie lokie" and "eeyup" openly too. I've also replaced some swearwords too, with one favourite of mine being 'apple bucking'. I'm sure you can guess what that replaces. ::S:

always nice to see so enthusiastic bronies, just having fun irl with references from the show.

well, since irl I mostly speak Croatia, there's no much chance to slip in pony references from the show. but everytime something is doubled, I say the *insert item* has been doubled.
also, I often say Huzzah same way Luna says.

Pony swears are great. I usually replace profanity with all kinds of expressions. Many picked up from the wheel of time series like, "bloody" and "blood and ashes" and of course pony ones like "go and buck some apples" and "what the hay".
