Hi! This is all a little ironic for me. Did a lot of horsemanship stuff growing up. Western yeehaw. And now... I AM a pony. Random (noob) question... is the title of "brony" applicable to girls, too? Or do we have a not-so-special name? About the me at the keyboard: I'm an animator (yussss!) applying to grad school. If that doesn't work out, guess I'll keep kicking it in CA and fantasize about working on certain shows. The me in the avvie: well, that's Windsong. The first two ponies I came up with one day when my friend found a pony generator were Windstar and Oceansong (can you tell that I like being on the coast?). Was supposed to me my ponyself, but everything kept coming back to those two. Really, it's Windstar, but once I googled to make sure nothing else embarrassing had that name, turns out it's the name of a minivan. Whoops. That's attractive... so now I'm Windsong, 'cause heck, why not be a little bit of both at the same time? Anyway, HELLO! Guess I'll be hanging around doing artsy things, 'cause that's what I do. Animator nerd pride!
Yes, the title brony is gender neutral, unless you want to go with some of the other ideas people came up with exclusively for females but they haven't really caught on (like Pegasis). Interesting, you animate? You have any examples of your work you'd be willing to show? I'd love to see them sometime Anyways, welcome to the site!
