It's as the title says. Is there a character in anime that you hate so much that you want them to die? Here's my list, and it will change over time: -Haruka Nanami(THE BIGGEST MARY SUE OF ALL TIME.) -Yuuki Cross -Judal -Orochimaru(I have a few choice words for the Pedosnake.) -Darcia(Ugh...such a bland villian...) Oh and by the way, feel free to explain why you hate them, list the examples, and rant off. RULES!!! 1. No cursing. 2. No comedic violence(Unless you have to make a reference). 3. No nerd fights, while entertaining, I am not responsible for fixing any broken windows due to a rage quit Rasengan or a mass murder Hadouken.
Oh. I didn't think this thread would exist, or if it should... But I'm so happy it does... Luffy and Naruto and Sora and about every cliche's anime protagonist: RITALIN. You are the most annoying, high pitched kids. I swear, you are most irritating and sterotypical for anime characters. Great, you want to become the best at what you do, BUT YOU HAVE TO GET THERE EVENTUALLY. And take stock of what's going before you mess up. Maybe then your friends (or yourselves) would quit dying and being resurrected. Inuyasha : We get it, you're so cynical and independent, you can do everything by yourself. Just be quiet, let the others help, and a get a room with Cocomeh or whatever. Goku and Krillian: Quit dying, damnit. Mysterious Dudes in Black with Crushs on Girls in School Uniforms #230: There's nothing mysterious about you, your clothes look horrible, and get a better profession than a janitor with stupid magical curse powers. Ash: Grow up, damnit. And last but not least, Stocking: You ruined the end of PSG and left us with biggest and most irritating cliffhanger ever. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Honestly, can't think of any particular character that I hate off the top of my head. There have been shows I hated, even whole genres, but I can't think of any particular characters that I disliked enough to remember them. Maybe some villains... but you're supposed to hate them, so if you really hate a villain that just makes them an awesome villain. Take QB for instance; I wanted to kill that little bugger sooo many times, but that's how you're supposed to feel about him so he really just fulfilled his role perfectly. ...Maybe Gary Oak, that guy was just a giant d*****. That's why I don't watch mainstream shonen anime. They're all like that. The whole "Let's do our best!" thing was endearing when I just started watching Ash and Pikachu begin their adventure together, not so much anymore.
Sakura from Naruto. Always says "This time will be different" and it's always the same. So useless. She just lies, cries, and wants Sasuke's d***. The only part I liked with her is when Sai blamed her for Naruto's misery.
Stereotypical pretty much static characters such as Ichigo, sora, naruto, even luffy. The heroes who start with a perfect hero attitude and keep it through the whole series. There are anime that are really good at making good characters
Shou Tucker from full metal alchemist. mainly because of a certain chimera based experiment. I still get feels whenever I watch it.
Well it's not like Sakura gets a lot of focus after the time skip. Anyway, if she want to throw herself at Sasuke and ignore Naruto's feelings, great. More Hinata for Naruto. Here are mine. Spoiler: Spoilers for Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, and One Piece (pretty old spoilers though) Sasuke Uchiha. I didn't mind his broodiness too much, but I really started to hate this guy when he fought his brother, who explicitly told him not to hate Konoha for what happened to his clan, because it was his clan's own doing. Sasuke admires his brother greatly, yet still, on the very next god damn page, he just goes full derp and says "IMMA DESTROY KONOHA FOR MY BROTHER!" Also, like Royal said, Shou Tucker. Biggest freaking scumbag in Fullmetal Alchemist. Kills his family to keep his job. Bastard. Also, the Tenryuubito in One Piece. Let me give a run-down on these guys. Well, there’s this class of people in one piece, right? They’re the descendents of the founders of the world governments and thus are higher class than even kings and queens. Every moment of their existence is spent believing they are superior to every living thing on the planet. The law has no authority over them whatsoever. They can literally do anything they want. Example. Everyone is required to bow when they walk by. A couple of doctors holding a stretcher didn’t do this because the guy they were carrying was bleeding out. In response to not getting the deference he wanted, the Tenryuubito (the super high class guy) kicked the guy in the stretcher to the ground and shot him dead. He saw one of the nurses mourning the dead body, looked her up and down, and decided to make her his 13th wife on the spot, and at the same time decided to let wives 1-5 go because he was bored with them. Her fiancee protested and the guy shot him too. Now comes the worst part about the Tenryuubito. If anyone harms one of them, they have the power to call an admiral (the strongest people in the navy) and a warship to come to their aid side note, the Tenryuubito wear resin bubbles on their heads so they don’t have to breathe the same air as commoners. The Tenryuubito went to a slave auction, and one of them was hoping to get a mermaid for a slave, so he can put her in a tank with piranhas to see if she can outswim them. he pays 500 million beri just for that. After he won that auction is when Luffy showed up. The mermaid is his friend and he was determined to rescue her. Their mutual fishman friend tried to stop him, knowing what would happen. The crowd saw the fishman and exclaimed in disgust at the sight of him (the island has massive discrimination against fishmen and mermen). The same Tenryuubito that did all those horrible things shot the fishman near fatally, feeling pleased with himself. The crowd, too, sighed with relief that they didn’t have to look at it anymore. People say that Sakura is awesome for beating Sasori. If it wasn't for Chiyo, she wouldn't have even made it past his Hiruko puppet. As far as Sasuke goes, I thought he was cool between the time he "killed" Orochimaru until just before he met Tobi. When I think about it, most characters in Naruto annoy me in some way, but I still like the show anyways. All the cool people are dead, except Darui.

Anyone seen Vision of Escaflowne? The main Female 'protagonist' Hitomi is absolutely unbearable. She falls in love with someone from her school, gets whisked away to another place and then falls in love again, gets jealous of other girls that have an interest in any other male and she's an absolute biatch. I cannot stand most of the characters from that Anime, I barely got passed the art/animation style, but JESUS she is annoying. She's not even sexy so I can't even check her out! I mean, I don't mind characters being one dimensional is at least they serve as eyecandy, but Hitomi has nothing going for her. She can predict futures and have visions and that's pretty much it.
The only anime character I actually hate is Naraku. He has no redeeming qualities and will do anything in his quest for power.
