Hey its me Rashall again and I just had to ask this question on this forum because well its something I'm into. You see when I was growing up in Oregon at night I could swear I heard voices and movement downstairs, for we lived in apartment above where my dad worked as a veterinarian. I would always here the same sounds every night, but the thing is it intrigued me rather than scared me, it made me think "Why are they here and what is it that they want?" When we moved here to Corpus Christi I found out that one of my friends was highly into the paranormal and along with another friend we held seances at least twice at my house, but we always used safety barriers to protect ourselves and we never EVER!!! tried to provoke them we just asked them simple questions. Now I am fully into the paranormal I love and embrace it, but I warn those entities that are harmful to stay away from me and to never harm my friends. I would like to hear any stories that you have of paranormal experiences in your life that is if you wish to tell them, but if you do not then I understand fully.
I believe in some things, but not all. I've had the occasional wonky experience, but never something like Haunted or Paranormal Activity stuff. That's about all I can say, really.
Nope, I don't believe in ghosts, aliens, bigfoot, the loch ness monster...stuff like that. However, I do believe in the Yeti (no, not our Yeti), mothman and the chupacabra, so take that as you will!
cool as for me I have had two cats that I held really close to my heart die on me. Every time my house gets really still and quiet I can swear that out of the corner of my eye there is a cat's tail going around the corner but when I look for the cat its not there. Whenever this happens I always think that those cats are watching over not only me, but my entire house and that they are constantly saying "We will always be with you no matter what."- nearly made my self cry right there. @Zephyr Wind- the yeti and bigfoot are on a basic scale the same thing just in different parts of the world.
Ghosts exist. I've seen them myself. Aliens exist, as there is no need for a whole universe if it's just us. Cheeseburgers exist, as they are delicious with bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce.
LIIIIEEES! I saw them thar cheeseburger with mah aown eyes! Big as yer head, drippin' BBQ everehwhear!
Ghosts, I don't believe they exists. Aliens on the other hand do exists, they have to the universe is to big for earth to be the only inhabited planet. There is also Atmospheric Beasts, but as much as I like them, I doubt they exist. I used to be big in the paranormal stuff, but not anymore. I would read and research everything.
When it comes to paranormal things, I'm very interested in the subject but I don't really believe in any of it. Of course, I do believe in aliens; logically, the universe is too big for them not to exist. I just don't think any of them have been here, to our Earth.
My interest in the paranormal had too taken a downward path in the past few years. I used to go to cemeteries and some of the old mills and factories and such around here and do EVP recordings.
Oh you guys...! To be honest, I've never had anything paranormal happen to me before. So, I can't say for certain whether I personally believe if ghosts do/do not exist. I would like to have a paranormal experience, I got to say. There's actually a hotel where I live that is said to be haunted. *Suddenly remembers Paranormal Activity 1 & 2* *shudder* Never have two movies scared me so much!
I'm not going to bring up things like Bigfoot and the Lochness monster as they fall more under cryptozoology than the paranormal. I'm talking ghosts and stuff. My stance on such things are similar to my stance on religion. Nobody knows what the truth is, but I can only assume going on the evidence. So far, I have little reason to believe in things like demons, possessions, angels and other such things, however I'm ruling nothing out. I don't believe death is the end of everything, I believe something that has awareness of its own existence can't just end like that, it's too much of a waste. The universe doesn't operate like that. To be honest, it's one of the few subjects I believe you can't to any more than throw guesses and theories around, because quite simply, nobody will ever know the truth. Right now, I'm going on the belief that once you die, your ability to perceive reality normally dies too. Effectively, and suprisingly contrasting to my earlier statement, that's it. You die. End of. However, I will admit, every day since my stepdad was killed 3 weeks ago, I have talked to him, out loud. I don't know if he can hear me, in fact I doubt it, but I'm desperately clinging to the belief that by keeping a person's beliefs and memories alive, you are in theory keeping them alive, which is what I'm trying to do, if not for my own benefit. I will also concede that since the incident, strange things have started happening. My grandmother had a strangely coinciding dream with events she could not have been aware of that involved my mother, a woman who was going to buy the house we were going to move in to start a new life had her morgage denied under extremely odd circumstances, and generally strange occurancces all give the impression that he is still around, helping us out. It could just be a series of coincidences that we're picking up on out of desperation, but then again it might be more than that. Nobody can prove anyone wrong about such paranormal concepts, so until they can, I'll keep talking to him.
I've never had a paranormal experience myself, but I've always been interested in them, especially The Amityville Horror, something about that leaves me with chills and a desire to learn more about it.
As a child I had multiple instances of this. When I was 10 for example, a surgeon was in my room. That creeped me out because I had never seen a surgeon's uniform before, yet the uniform was perfect. Scalpel in hand too. I'd never seen that before either, so I did believe it. I went to a pub, and out of nowhere, a white chalk mark appeared, y'know the kinda thing where people die a suspicious death and forensics have to come in and outline the body? It was that. But as I grew older, I became more ignorant, although I still believe in the paranormal, the actual experiences I've had with them are now non-existent.
Most of my experiences were when I was much younger, and I haven't had anymore since moving into a different room of the house. I used to hear different voices call my name, saw blood dripping from the walls on one occasion, and have had hands suddenly appear at the sides of my bed on a couple different occasions. I keep an open mind about the possibility of the paranormal, but the brain is a powerful tool capable of deceiving you. So I'm not entirely positive about the existence of the paranormal, but I'm open to the possibility. It's also fascinating to watch in movies. I think the theory I support the most, based on the movies, is that if one suffers a brutally violent death, their spirit is unable to move on.
Aliens? The universe is infinite. Therefore, even if the chance of aliens existing is close to zero, lim (x->0)x*infinity = infinity. Ergo, they most likely do exist. As for the paranormal, I am undecided, since there is no evidence either way. Ghosts seem a somewhat absurd concept, imho, while spirits and the like are marginally more believable. So, I'll just stick to practicing my energy manipulation stuffs. In hindsight, why not Zoidberg?
Another Excellent post by our own Lupr! I believe in what I can see or hear; while I am religious, I am skeptical about the entire existence of an afterlife or otherworldly spirits or demonic possessions. Being religious doesn't mean I can't be skeptical; but I do believe in what I believe in. Ghosts and Demonic Possessions are not one of them. Anyways, that's my take. I do believe, however, that certain things that we cannot hope to comprehend exist. I believe in extraterrestrial life, but I highly doubt that the nearest habitable planet known to man is approximately 300,000 light years away, and that they somehow lived 300,000 years, and traveled at the speed of light just to come to this planet alone.
Once, as I was going to bed (parents were already asleep, I was alone in the living room), I swear...I SWEAR I heard someone. An evil laugh...I don't know, I try not to think about it. I'm paranoid enough as it is. Lupr's post sums up my feelings and thoughts on this matter. Bahahaha--*falls over*ahahahahaha!
Me, being one of the dreamy and introverted folks, have never had much trouble believing in things I can't see. When I was very young, I could see the most curious geometric and cosmic shapes floating above me when I was lying in my parent's bed on the attic. Balls connected by wire.. forming even larger balls, resembling molecules.. These are the images that has stayed with me the sharpest. I also remember seing a scray face beside me once. And one time I heard weird, disturbing music that simply wasn't from this world. I kept waking my parents to tell them the radio was on, but they couldn't hear a thing. Now that I'm older I usually don't see anything remarkable when I stare into the dark. But I haven't stopped believing anything as I grew older. The only spiritual entities I convey with right now are my guardian angels. I know they exist. I can feel their presence sometimes, and I trust them to keep harmfull entities away from me. Whenever I sense there's a wrong energy, I turn to them. I am fearfull of mostly anything else, and I don't indulge in the paranormal.
