Just wondering. I'm planning to get my tech pretty soon, and was just curious if anyone here has a license or some sort of authorization to use the amateur bands, and what your callsign is if so.

I'm not expecting really anypony other than me to actually be into this...

EDIT: AMATEUR RADIO. NOT AS IN THE MEAT

HAM radio? Is that what you mean? I think I have an old junky one lying in the foundry. What do you mean "bands"? I never used one. How about going to a specialty forum instead? They could help you infinitely more than we ever could.

My dad used to have one and still has his charts, but not the equipment.

Actually, I thought you meant being an actor.

But, no, I do not have a ham license. Although quite a few people here in Reno seem to have them - they list their call signs on their vehicle's license plate.
