For him, indifferent is good enough, I am a AVGN fan . The Nostalgia Critic though seem to reference ponies alot, just watch his latest review of Star Trek the motion picture.
Nostalgia Critic actually full out defends MLP:FiM as a decent show that people may like, in one of his reviews. He also references it in a Ask That Guy episode where he asks why he can't just enjoy a show about ponies, in response to who is best pony. I think NC appreciates the show, but is not a huge fan. Nostalgia chick on the other hand, hates us, because bronies spammed her for not mentioning MLP:FiM in her My Little Pony Review. That is why we need to hold our tongues sometimes guys. Imagine if that guy in the red shirt pushed the question with "Why Not?" or "ransom insult". I have had online friends find ponies on their own without me ever mentioning it to them. Be patient, ponies will take over the world eventually. But if we try to force it, we will cause resentment.
I've never watched AVGN, but gather that he's quite reactive and sensational? I liked his answer though, very reserved.
I like his response. To us bronies, it's not insulting, he acknowledges us and just lets us be. For him, it saves his reputation (regardless of his opinion on the show) and doesn't alienate any of his fans.
Hmm. To be honest I felt he would be one who doesn't really know about the show and its fandom, as he is constantly busy with his work, so wouldn't pay much attention to such things. Although perhaps a friend might have told him about it or something.
Just wondering, but which video does he say it is a decent show? Also, the Bronies were being stupid for spamming the Nostalgia chick. She was reviewing the Movie, not the series. It would be more understandable if she reviewed all the MLP series, but the current one. I really hope that she doesn't hate us forever since she seems like a nice person.

AVGN is probably NOT a Brony, but he doesn't hate the show. I don't care for it doesn't mean that he doesn't like it, but then again, it doesn't mean he does either. A neutral response was perfect for The Nerd. I wish I could meet James...
