Mat was back in Canterlot. It had been quite a while since his last visit, and actually, it had been even longer since he last visited the place he was going to. He looked up at the castle, giving a light chuckle to himself, "... I remember when I was a castle guard here, then everything happened, and look at me now. I'm coming back... They stationed me in Ponyville and gave me all these missions and everything. Funny how quickly things change." He was stopped by the guards as he walked right up to the door, giving a wave, "Hello... can you let me in, please?"
The two guards looked at him. "Castle is closed today. Princess Celestia is out and only Princess Luna is here." one of them said. One of them looked new and the ither not that much.
Mat nods, "Right, but I am a guard. So, I can go in. You can ask Luna or your immediate superiors, I can wait."
"Right..." a guard said before he trotted away A pair of minutes later, he came back. "Alright. You can go in." he soon said
He gives a small nod before walking inside the castle, "Good, I'm still known." Mat gives a light chuckle to himself, "Probably just because of the power though. Well, mainly."
The inside seemed to be rather calm. Guards walking here and there, as well as ponied that worked around the castle. After a few moments, the sound of ponies om armor runnimg could be heard, and the next thing Mat could see was a small grey alicorn colt flying about fast and a group of at least 10 guards, both day and night guards, chasing him.
He would soon see another one, but this one was bigger, a mare, and had a charcoal coat with a light blue mane, sitting on Tia's throne as she read a book, sitting like if it was just a chair in her room
The red stallion whispered to himself. "... Okay, yeah, something happened." He slowly walked into the throne room, giving a small wave, "Hello, where's Princess Luna?"
The mare moved her book down as she saw the stallion. "Luna? Hmmm... Should be in her room." she said before she went back to her book
He nodded, "Alright, thank you very much." He quickly exits the throne room, heading towards Luna's room, going up the spiral staircase. "Sounds like she's got a family now, from what I'm gathering."
There were a pair of guards standing in fron of the door as he walked up. He could also hear the sound of snoring ponies inside the room, not only Luna
He looked at the two guards, "The Princess is sleeping, isn't she? Tell me... she's got a family now, right? I've missed a lot."
Mat shakes his head, giving a light chuckle, "Who would've known. Though, I guess this means I was right on my wager."
Mat gave a light chuckle, "Maybe I shouldn't have left. I mean... I could probably keep a hoof on him."
"Belive me. His is really hard to control." the other said. Soon, there wers some hoofsteps from, and Princess Luna soon opened the door. "We need more silence to sleep..." she said, rubbing her eyes
