I feel like doing another uplifting poll, and there's nothing more uplifting than a hero who actually started on the wrong end of the tracks, but saw the error of his/her ways and became one of the main heroes of the story. So, which is the best hero who started out as a villain?
I can't help but like Vegeta, as well. I know a lot of people don't like how he developed, but I enjoyed it.
Miles Edgeworth, he's still the coolest character in that entire series. He's even face turned a couple of characters himself.
Do you think that Sirius Black would count? We thought he was a villain in most of Prisoner of Azkaban before the the big reveal. He turned out not the be a villain in the end. Also I'm surprised that the Green Ranger isn't up there, also the current incarnation of that archetype Sunset Shimmer.
The Green Ranger is a good old classic...but only from the US Power Rangers dub. The original series as it originally aired in Japan is....yeah. Let's not touch that. It went beyond messed up. Also, Viral from Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann as well. If only for the fact it was eluded to quite early on in the series (outside the protagonist heroes he was the only one to have his own unique song).
That's Fate Averrenicus. Fate Testarossa is Nanoha's partner from the Nanoha franchise, who is still a heroine as of this writing.
