War, is a tiresome thing. A lot of times, you have to take a step back from the violence and constant threat of death to sit back, relax, enjoy your time with friends, and much more. This is just that place, welcome to the Blood in the Stars RP OOC, I shall post my rules and such later. Rules: #1: Follow what reality at least a little bit; trying to make this RP as realistic as possible here, so, that means no random raids on enemy position that you get out unscathed from, while killing everyone inside, I believe that goes under OP. #2: Be friendly; pure and simple stuff #3: Follow Theater Rules; self-explanitory #4: If you're on the front line, expect me to make the battle very, very, very dangerous, as it would be most realistic(Not really a rule, more of a warning) #5: Most importantly, HAVE FUN! I don't want you to be bored or anything during RP, so make sure you have fun! the colors represent the front line at different stages in the war, while the dashed lines are both the original borders and were the front line was for part of the war
Oh no, not at all, just read the interest check (which is linked in the sign-ups) or if you are talking about the OOC, yes.
Alright guys, here's a little overview on what both sides want from the war, and the overview of the war itself. What Glory wants to gain is complete control of the planet, and by extension, the system because they know it will be a critical part of Terra's colonial system if taken. It also seeks to gain favor with the powerful international government back on Terra called the Grand International Government, and through that favor, push it's own agendas through it. What Equestria wants to do is show that they can tango with other nations in space, they want to prove to the other two great space-faring civilizations of the Orion Arm that it deserves to be in their presence. So Equestria has an advantage in the fact it only has to hold what has, while Glory has to be on the offensive 100% of the time the first ten years of the war are the friendliest to Equestria, over a ten year period of time, they manage to fight Glory out of the Isthmus and then some, threatening a massive break-out. But then Glory kicked into emergency mode and devoted itself entirely to the war, like what Equestria had done ten years earlier. Over another ten years, Glory won back every inch of ground it lost, and the middle of the Isthmus became a bloody No One's Land as both sides dug in, occasionally attacking and raiding each other, fighting a fight of bloody attrition. Then after five years of stalemate, Glory calls in what is known as a Great Offensive and simply overwhelms the Equestria troops. The five years of the Great Offensive were some of the bloodiest as Glory punched its way slowly through Equestria's defenses, driving Equestria into the peninsulas, were a treaty is signed.
For one, it is extremely short and in no way descriptive at all, in short, this is a very lazy post, not thought through at all, and doesn't really have any character development, or protrayal. Another thing is that if someone was captured, they wouldn't be taken to the Viceroy of the entire system, he just doesn't have the time for that, he would have just been packed off to a POW camp and his story would pretty much end there. So please, try again, and try harder this time. Thank you.
ok and yes i will admit it is bad. sorry i had just awoken i will delete it think it through and repost at a later date sorry to have not been efficient with my post/
Probably try to appeal to a local commander, say a militia or something, for a job as a mercenary, that would be the most realistic option
so like Strafer was headed to a glory out post on the way he thought about his life and his decision to leave. (input long list of reasoning) Arrives. regonized taken to commander as prisonore Tells his plight. Sound good?
Yup, sounds like something someone would do, after all these Glorians are cold mother-buckers, they aren't gonna let you do a thing with them until you've thoroughly proven your intentions and loyalties to them.
I actually have made a map, lemme take a quick pic of it and I shall upload it! the colors represent the front line at different stages in the war, while the dashed lines are both the original borders and were the front line was for part of the war
If you'd like, I could have another OC on the Glory side. I understand most have gone for the Equestrian?
