Cindy Morrow has left My Little Pony. I had just stumbled upon her LinkedIn (located here: http://www.linkedin.com/in/cindymorrow), and in her experience section, she mentions writing for MLP from October 2009 to November 2011. She has been gone for about 2 months now and is now devoting her writing time for Care Bears. The time she left suggests that she left about halfway through season 3's production. As of February 1, 2012, she has written (and probably will write another 1 or 2 episodes before she's gone): Griffon the Brush-Off Winter Wrap-Up The Show Stoppers Owl's Well That Ends Well Sisterhooves Social Family Appreciation Day In my opinion, she was a wild card. She had her good and bad episodes. About a B-level writer. So, what is everypony's reaction to this sudden announcement? Godspeed, Mrs. Morrow. Good luck on Care Bears.
I just hope that MLP stays cool. Maybe she just couldn't handle the fame. Maybe she wanted the show to only be for young girls?
well, who knows, there might have been anything from pay to convenience to contract difficulties, so who knows? I personally wish her the best of luck on her new job, and hope that she might bring some nice writing to that show as well.
Griffon the Brush-Off was good, and I really enjoyed Sisterhooves Social. Winter Wrap Up is boss, though.
She wrote some of the fan favorites, maybe she left because she felt it was time for a change, or like Flutterbee said, she couldn't handle the fame
She wrote some of my favorite episodes, too. Also the one I don't like so much - Griffon the brush-off. Eh, no one's perfect.
