I love John Carpenter's The Thing, and I love ponies. I couldn't help but notice the similarity between how Bronies are taking the internet by storm and how The Thing threatens to take over humanity. Only instead of gore and creepiness, they do it with friendship and tolerance. So I made this: Pathology Report for Subject #24601 Infected with Unidentified Class VI Memetic Virus (Codename BRN-E) Don't worry it's not gory or gross or anything, it's simply intended to be a funny take on what it must feel like to be on the other side of the pony fence, so to speak. Make sure you listen to the provided music while reading it! I would have posted it here directly, but I think the image is too massive to go on the forum. This is the first time I've ever seriously tried to make something using Photoshop, so any feedback would be super appreciated!

I loved it. Here I thought I was going to have to love and tolerate someone, but instead I get to love and accept someone. I think i was infected myself about 3 months ago. If I had given proper treatment it may have been prevented but after having a taste of Applejacks pie the disease kicked in irreversable. Soon I found myself staring at imaginary pink ponies.
Not just do I appreciate this post. But I have worked for 10 hours straight to make this a creepy and entertaining video. This could go Viral. Now I just need to find a way to upload the video. I'll let you all know when it is public.
