Welcome new campers to Camp Demigod! Currently at the moment you are classified as 'undecided' which means your godly parent has yet to claim you and you shall be staying with the other undecideds in their respective Cabin until the time comes that you are claimed. From this hill, you can see the whole camp, over in that direction, directly east, no, that way, you shall see the cabins arranged in a circle around the camp Bonfire pit, and over there you can see the Pavilion, which is essentially the camp break area. Over there is the Training Barracks, and there is the Field of Fire, where we hold our mock battles. Over there is the Curia, or the main administration building of the camp for those that do not know Latin. And over there is the straight military-like barracks if you happen to get claimed by a roman god. But that isn't my part of the camp so I cannot tell you much more about. Anyways, find your cabin and enjoy your time here!
This had better not be a prank. Is it a prank? But what if it's real? Mother wouldn't pull something like this on me, would she? Fernleaf nervously twitched as she glanced around the camp that was to be her new home. The other ponies standing nearby seemed equally as confused, and a lot older than she was! No, don't cry, you'll be fine here. Just go with it. Whimpering, Fernleaf took off at a slow trot towards the undecided cabin. If she was to be stuck here, she should find one of the better beds before they're all taken.
Bronte's day had only gotten worse since he woke up. Less than an hour ago, he awakened with no memory of who or where he was. Shortly after, he learnt his name when he was taunted by harpies attacking him. So far, the best part of his day was the arrival of an extraction team, who brought Bronte to the camp. Now he felt extremely out of place looking over the camp, like accidently walking into the wrong classroom, but being too embarrassed to leave.
Wave entered the cabin still bemused about what happened on the school trip. Choose the top bunk of the bed on the left closest to the door and started chatting to the other undecided's. "so how did you all end up here. Well I got attacked by a hagraven who posed as my English teacher and my paraplegic history teacher handed me a pen to fight her. Turns out when you uncap the pen it turns into a bronze sword".
The first night in the undecided cabin was torture. Bronte woke up every half hour or so, unable to distinguish dreams from reality. Sometimes they seemed realistic enough to be memories, but he was never certain. The existence of gods wasn't as startling as he thought it should be, nor was the fact that Bronte was a demigod. What really troubled him was that all the other new arrivals seemed to have found the place they belonged. Bronte overheard several of them talking about getting kicked out of school and never having many close friends. He had a hunch that his past included similar tales of inexplicable events leading to discipline. A demigod living in a mortal world should feel right at home surrounded by others just like you. So why don't I? Bronte asked himself promising to find the answer.
Rainbow Dash woke up after a long night in the undecided cabin. She yawned and stretched, then looked at the bunk below her. "Uhh... hi!". She flapped her wings and hovered in the air for a second "I'm Rainbow Dash, whats your name?". A pause followed this. "Helloooo?". Rainbow sighed.
Wavepool despite being named wave he knew he wasn't going to be posiedons son. He thought it would be to incidental. Wave then proceeded to get some rest, it was going to be a long day tomorrow.
(Thanks, Snow!) Savvy lay on her bunk, immersed in a book about Greek Gods. The names of Athena, Demeter, and Artemis swirled through her head. Shaking her head, she turned out her light and went to sleep.
Midnight stretched out on her bunk, then levitated her pillow. She dropped in on her head. Why couldn't they all shut up for just a moment? She hadn't slept for weeks. Well that was because of the monsters, but still, had they not all been through the same?
Savvy heard the pony below her twisting and turning. She peered and saw a blue unicorn. "Aren't you tired? Oh.." she said, noticing her discomfort. "Here." she said, her horn glowing, a shimmery white half circle appeared, hovering over the pony's head and fit around her, blocking out the noise, and letting her sleep in comfort
Midnight stretched. That was a great sleep... she thought. She rolled out of bed and looked up. "Hey, thanks for last night. I really appreciated it so-uh..." Midnight concentrated, and then her horn glowed as a blue bracelet patterned wiith stars appeared. She floated it to the pony in the bunk above her."Thanks." she said, before trotting out of the door.
Wave trotted next to midnight "hey after breakfast would you like to join the blue team in the capture the flag tournament. On the blues there's the apollo, Athena, Artemis and Aphrodite cabins while on the red there's the ares, Hermes, Demeter and Hestia cabins. The undecided's get to pick themselves".
Savvy folded the blanket neatly. "Thanks!"she called. She trotted into the sunshine and stretched.she grabbed a bit of hay and some dandelions, and ate in the sunshine.
When Bronte woke, most of the other undecided campers had left. It was rather late in the morning, so he hurried out to grab some breakfast before it was too late. He arrived as they were packing up what was left. Bronte gave them an awkward smile and scooped some food onto his plate. "Thanks.." he said and left before they could respond. Well, that was embarrassing. he thought as absentmindedly tossed some food into the fire pit. Bronte took a few steps before he stopped. Why did I do that? It felt like the right thing to do but it just didn't make sense. "I need more sleep." he said to himself as he sat down to eat.
robin grabbed a cup of ambrosia and drank it before heading back out to the armory were he was going to get his amour for the CtF tournament. when he arrived he put on the hardened leather breastplate, helmet and shield and grabbed a small steel shortsword.
Savvy trotted towards the capture the flag evfent. She knew she wasn't strong, but she was fast. She grabbed a small dagger, and some leather clothes that kept her slightly protected. She went over towards grass and waited patiently.
Shortly after he finished eating, Bronte saw the majority of the campers heading to their cabins or the armory, and returning with weapons and armor. He got up and walked over where he recognized some of the new undecided campers. "Hey guys, uh, what's up with the armor and everything?"
