ok umm..i just copied and pasted fighting is magic: Tribute Edition from my desktop to my laptop and...i can't figure out how to fix the fullscreen problem. when i fullscreen on my desktop it looks fine but when i fullscreen on my laptop...it has 2 black bars and the windows border w/ buttons are still there like what the fudge? lol (by the way i'm using windows 8) so anyway here's an edited screenshot (edited because the screenshot just shows the whole game with borders...so i made it look exactly what i'm telling) Da Screenshot :U :C idk what to do lmao please help
I'm on Windows 8 and works fine, though with horrid aspect ratio, for me on full screen. Have tried using alt-enter? Also, this thread is in the wrong place.
Sorry, i don't know the right thread section for this, i just really wanted to know if anyone could help me with this problem :C also tried alt+enter.... some say that i need to update my drivers but it says my drivers are up to date. there's still some of us out there with this problem :C we dunno how to fix this T^T also what's the right section for this thread? *squee* cause maybe the thread section that you're talking about may help me XD
It looks like your laptop or desktop is on a widescreen resolution. Do you have a widescreen laptop or monitor? I'd try running in a screen mode that is not widescreen. You may have to tweek your settings if your on a laptop so that it streaches your screen to fit non-widescreen resolutions. Try switching to 800x600 or 1024x768 and running the program in full screen then and see what happens. The black bars are because the game is fixed at a 4:3 aspect ratio. So unless you change your resolution to fit you will have bars. As for the Windows frame appearing around the program that should not really appear but sometimes it will depending on the game and your video card. For me the window keeps blinking which is even more annoying. The game is poorly optimized and in an unfinished state, so there's not much you can do about it. Sent from my XT1080M using Tapatalk
I'm using AMD Radeon 8530m i already tried switching resolutions, it got rid of the black bars but it still has the window w/ the maximize minimize close buttons i guess mike406 was right XD the is in an unfinished state and i think it's because of windows 8 or maybe my graphics card or something..whatever it is causing the problem i'll just have to play it in windowed mode XD *sigh* I thank you for replying! ^ u ^ - - Auto Merge - - Yeah i guess you're right...I'll just play on windowed mode, it doesn't bother me that much anyway, i just thought i was the only one having this problem lmao X) Thanks for the info and for the reply like really thanks! hehe
