Several ponies on the last few days had reported seeing a rather odd and peculiar creature near the everfree forest. What it is and what it wants is unknown to the ponies, and they never travel to the forest to investigate whatever it is, and it just stayed as rumors and stories. Midnight Lullaby, an alicron with a charcoal coat and a light blue mane and tail, was walking around the streets of ponyville, levitating a book with her magic as she read it. Even though she was an alicorn, she pretty much didn't caused that scandal like Twilight Sparkle, since she was a Princess. Lullaby was more modest and didn't liked too much attention. She was walking towards the everfree forest as she read, but she didn't noticed she was doing it, as she was way focused on her book to do it.
A dark shadow watched from the forest as it hid in the trees. It's eyes illuminated as it watched, anxious to follow it's new 'victim'.
Lullaby just kept reading her book as she entered the forest. "Why is all suddenly so dark?" she asked herself as she walked in and lither horn to keep reading... Until she realized where she was. "Oh.... This is bad." she said as her horn stoped the spell and she tried to look from where she came from
Stuffy watched from above, tail flicking as she moved from branch to branch silently. She gave a throaty chuckle as she watched the point struggle.
Lullaby mamaged to hear something moving around, but what could it be? An animal? A wild creature? Another pony? "Hello?" she asked as she started to slowly walk to where she thought was the exit. "Somepony in there....?"
Stuffy hung from the tree suddenly, she looked menacing within the dim lighting. She was blocking her exit. Her eyes glowed with insanity.
"Eek!" Lullaby couldn't help it but let out a small scream of surprise as she saw... Whatever she had infront of her. She had never seen or read about a creature like this. What was it?! "Uhm... Hello?" she asked, trying to cross her eyes with... It's eyes.
"So I see you've wandered into the deep dark forest!" She said as menacingly as she could, showing off sharp teeth.
"Oh? I know you ponies are named after talents..." She said the word 'ponies' with such malice, it was almost like she had something against them. With one quick and smooth motion, she circled Midnight until she was behind her.
Lullaby looked at her as she walled around her, but soon lost track of her and eeked softly when she felt it was behind her now, making her spin around as fast as she could. "Y-yes we are..." she simply replied
"I always thought that a bit... ridiculous." Stuffy grinned maliciously. Her breath was hot and had the scent of blood.
"It is how it is. I dont know why." she simply replied as she slowly walkes backwards, trying to stay away
