since over the summer break ill be making various baked goods and desserts(mostly choclate) i thought it would be a good idea to list the recipes of the things i make,so you too can make some delicous items,(i am in no way responsible for any weight gained by consumation of said foodstuffs) to gain a choclatechip cooking award youll have to amass enough points bymaking the recipes, and pming me a pic of the final result, and those who gain awards will gain a little medal to put in their sig so lesson 1 is ganache,a simple sauce like mixture, used for coating things, fillings, pouring and for my use of them tommrow wich will be posted tommrow, homemade simple truffles so here we go!: ganache is worth 20 points! ingrediants 800g of chocolate 45g of liquid glucose(can be picked up in any supermarket cooking section,i got mine at tescos) 220ml of cream(i used single but whipping cream preffered) 1. melt the choclate in a saucpan to 40 c 2.combine the liquid glucose and cream in another saucepan and bring to a boil 3.add the boiled glucose and cream mixture to the melted choclate in a mixing bowl and stir hroughly to combine 4.allow ganache to cool(good time to wash the saucepans) 5.tranfer to an airtight container and refrigerate overnight or 2 hours now you can always eat it by itself or have it on top of popcorn or something, but im saving my batch to make truffles tommrow, wich will be lesson 2,so if you wanna join in the next lesson, save that ganache! up my rep if you liked this lesson,if you attempt this recipe ,feel free to post a pic of the final result AND REMEMBER,EVRYPONY IS SOMEPONY
I made a thread similar to this, but not quite as well structured...Would you like to work the recipe here into your own thread?
