Unknown journal entry: Not many people travel to the heart of the Everfree Forest, so it is not all that odd that only a woof full of ponies in Equestria even know of the strange meditating pony on the outskirts of the forest. Day to day he sits and watches the sunrise and set. Living in a harmony with the land that few can even comprehend. He grows just enough food for himself (and the many animals who pass through the mountain passes.) What he doesn't use he gives to his neighbor, Zecora. The only other pony that even knows of his existence is Dr. Whoof. Once upon a time however... well that's a story for another day. -Journal of One Gnay Gniy (Real name unknown): Today is the last day of my life. I give into the calling that I have been driven to all my life, even if it is against every fiber of my mane. I sit on this rock now only just barely able to keep my eyes open, for many years I have been deciding if my cutie mark was just a fluke to hide what I, for so long, thought to be my real calling (which shall never be mentioned after so many years of soiling my hooves.) A new feeling crosses my worn face, a smile. Now I sigh and shut this journal, most in code so no prying eyes may see my deeds, and get to work on making this little cave to be something to gallop about.
