Hello! This week, Foxytail is going to take over a little. She's set something up to do with entertainment of some kind. Been buzzing around the place for at least a week. Very excited for the show she's doing though I've seen her get excited over melted butter on crumpets. Honestly, I can't blame her on that front. It's heaven in spongy-bread form, but still, I have my reservations. I sat in the rehearsals and watched an argument over whether the dummy's lips are meant to move in a ventriloquism act. It was a heated battle between somepony that believed it was a lack of skill in the art if the dummy's lips move and a mare arguing that if the dummy's mouth didn't move, how else would the voice come out of it when she sipped a glass of water? It was then that the filly posing as the dummy threw down her wig, climbed off the stage and stormed off, bow tie spinning like there was no tomorrow. Anyway, I introduce Foxytail and whoever she could round up. Community Theater on 142 Street Fillies and Gentlecolts! Welcome to the Everypony Open Mic Night! My name is Foxytail and I shall be your host! We're going to have some real fun tonight! Twilight Sparkle is going to do some stand up comedy, we'll have some wonderful poetry by Maud Pie and our special surprise for our finale from Pinkie Pie! Let's head straight in with Twilight! Take it away! Thank you Foxytail. I hope we'll have a lot of fun! As you know, I used to be the librarian in Ponyville before I became princess. There's a lot of funny things that happen in a library. I find a lot of people are surprised when they read a book on colours. It looks like a rainbow but in the end the book is simply read! Ha! Punny! Hehe, well... there's a lot of different kinds of books. Even books about fantastical mysteries and stories. Some call me a book worm but even I find those hard to swallow! Pictured: The Audience's Reaction Umm... well... Well thanks Twilight, we'll get right back to you! But first, some site news! - Site News Thanks Foxy. This just in, the site has been updated. What does this mean? Largely nothing on the grand scheme of things. It just explains the sudden down time of yesterday. Maybe some bits will run a little nicer or easier but the changes seem to largely be for the benefit for the dorky types that keep forums like this running. So; Me. Maybe Mike and Minty. The upshot is that you may now link your Facebook account to your Everypony account. It's also possible to sign in using your Facebook account. On top of making things a touch easier, you can also recommend threads and such by pressing the bright 'Facebook-Blue' button at the very bottom of a page. There's likely other places to do this as well. Then, you can display that thing on your own page. So, good schtuff. I now return you to your train wreck, I mean, Feature Presentation. It seems Twilight had to go and review some notes she's made so we'll see if she'll be back to perform later. For now, we have the wonderful poetry of Maud Pie! Let's give her a welcoming hoof! This one is called 'Boulder'. Boulder. You are small, like a pebble. You are grey, like a rock. You were part of my favourite boulder. That's why I called you boulder. You stay close to me. I like your sediment. Thank you. "Take it off! Show us some flank! Wooo!" - The pink mare right in the back with the double vodka. Well wasn't that simply riveting! It truly plucks at the heartstrings. It'll be hard to top that kind of literary talent, but let's see what else we have! - Recommended Reading Uh huh...That poem seems to get slower every time I hear it. So, standard but solid thread: Who should get their own episode focused on them? My vote? I'm with those that said Zecora. I'd be more than happy to see more of her life or at least know something about her! Does anyone know of Ralph Bashki? Vulpine Taco thinks you should. Your most likely to recognize him for this: The Animated Version of 'The Lord of the Rings'. Kinda interesting for many reasons, partly for heavy use of Rotoscoping. I can know about movie things too! Ah! My Heart goes out to anypony making these threads. So, is there anyone in Central Florida? That felt like a set up to a JonTron joke... Lastly, after I showed off my own modified Pony Amiibo on my LP show last week, Prince of the Night decided he'd find a few other Ponified Amiibo. The Celestia one looks amazing! Though...What would controlling Celestia in Smash Bros. be like? Y'know, other than surreal that it's even happening. Like, more surreal than Sonic and Solid Snake being admitted to the series. Well, it's time for the next act. I pass you back to Foxytail, live in the Theater. Well it seems Pinkie's about ready to reveal her surprise, so let's give her.... What? What do you mean she can't fit it on stage?... It's a WHAT? Well it seems that there's some technical difficulties so let's just wish everyone a good night. See you at the next open mic night! No Pinkie, we're not having a live d- The jokes weren't working out! I have something else to show! This just in: the entertainment is at an end as one of the acts coughed, setting the whole place ablaze. The dragon that the performer Pinkie Pie had lured down with chocolate bars torched the place by mistake before they could even attempt to figure out how to get the colossal creature inside the building for Pinkie to try and tame. Instead, the evening has been made into a Fighter Fighting tournament where the winners will be awarded all the toasted marshmallows they can eat simply because one does not question why Pinkamena Diane Pie would be carrying the things in such large quantities. On the plus side, a particular performance artist has been rescued from the blaze. Her white make up has be sweated off and her stripy jumper charred but the silent theatrical performer has been rescued without further injury. A few general gestures were made to indicate she was fine before attempting to push hard against an immobile balloon. The worst was when the paramedics thought she was in distress but it was only an invisible box she was trapped in. Still, it's good she made it out OK, as a Mime is a terrible thing to waste. Yeah...I just wanted an excuse to use this again...
