Community Post #41: Of Birthdays and Cake

Well, it certainly has been an... 'eventful' 2 years here on EP. From just a small population of maybe 10-12 people in the first couple of months, to over 50 active members (With about 300 of them that have come and gone), it's no surprise that EP continues to grow.
It's been an honour to be here for as long as I have, and I hope to stay here for even longer.

So without further ado, let's get with the community post. An extra special one at that.

First thing's first: Las Pegasus is doing another broadcast on Anno. They're making this a series, so it'd help to check out the radio and see what they do next with it! Check in Saturday at 10 PM GMT, as always!

Next, EPRP is again on Saturday, 10 PM GMT. Jhera will be unavailable for the Easy run, so only Advanced will be happening that day.

On the next scenario: The recent company of Mystic Heart leads some of the adventurers to learn of a place they can get prime components for enchantments from. How well will they do? Or will they find themselves in deeper trouble than they began in...


What sort of perils await? Will the RNG screw over Blazing again? Find out on Saturday night!

We have... a bit of sad, but still good, news. Our resident Technical Administrator, Mike, is retiring. Tyro the Fox will be taking over as Tech Admin after he leaves. But don't worry! Mike will still be here, being a member on the site and all that good stuff!
His Jedi Master, Grey, left the adminship, to become a Jedi Knight of Awesomesauce. And now, the student has become the master, and it is time to move on. Mike has taken on a Padawan, Tyro. And soon, Tyro will become the next great Jedi Knight of Everypony. A silent hero, an ally in the betterment of Everypony, and everyone all the same!

We all wish Mike the best. He was good. Real good. Maybe even the best. But even the best sometimes have to move on, and I am certain we will miss his leadership and level head on the staff. We salute you, good sir.

We also have some praise to give. We'll give the floor to Poetic here.

Fine words from a fine lad. I can agree with everything he said here. I have praises to give of my own, as well.

HarleyCyn: You motivate me. A lot. Like... a lot, a lot. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. You made EP for me. Kind, funny, and pretty darn smart too. (My sword hand still twitches!) I hope you stay for much longer. I really do. Thank you for everything.

Jhera: You've shown that you have motivation and drive here. You've worked on the RP section and done your best to help with EPRP and all of that stuff that I'm honestly not too familiar with. This is a shoutout from the many people who have praised you and will praise you for a long time to come.

Snow: THANK YOU for being patient with me on Bunkerland and other updates on that. I know you've been waiting a long time, and you've motivated me to keep me going on that and other projects of mine. I salute you sir.

Tempest Wind: You've really changed. You've improved so much, and people can see that. From all the times I've talked to you, you've never seemed better than you do now since you changed your name. Keep it up man.

The Users: You guys keep me motivated to do my job and help you guys out. I don't know how to express my gratitude much at all. So I stick to making Bunkerland and videos from respective games to try and keep you guys entertained. I hope to change things around here and hope to make EP at least reflect some of it's former glory. And even then, EP is a great frickin' place. That doesn't mean it can't get better from here. Thank you, each and every one of you.

To those who have come and gone over the past 2 years, we're glad that you gave us even more of a reason to better this place. Every single one of you has had some sort of positive impact, no matter what. Through unorthodox means, or no.

We look forward to another fantastic year, and for a better future in general.

EDIT: Legionbrony is taking over EPRP Easy! Tomorrow's scenario: A group of adventurers are caught at sunset on the road, and need a place to stay. They come across a remote Asylum, with a mansion next to it in which the doctor and staff lives. They start outside the door of the mansion.
Is the Good Herr Doktor's name Dr. Mario? Does he have a lesser-known yet strangely more popular brother named Luigi that hunts ghosts in his spare time!?
...No? Okay then.
