Hey ladies and gentlecolts! I know, I know, who the heck is this person doing the Community Post? Tis me, Harley! Fluttery and I will alternate each week just to give some flavor-flave to the delicious Community Posts! That being said, let's get this road on the show-- I mean, show on the road! First, I'll give you some sad news... Zephyr and Saikyo will not continue on with Trial of the Dragon for their own reasons. Though it was extremely short-lived, it was entertaining for the moment we had it! So I still want to thank both of them for putting effort into the idea and even attempting to air it a couple times! Now this is a more serious note, this is a blog posted by the late-great Foxytail. Many of you have probably already have seen the post by the Pretty Pink Pony but for those that haven't, give it a look. There is so much that needed to be said and that needs to be read... by everyone, not just staff, not just members... but the entire everypony community has a whole. So please, read this. Foxytail has seen and been through much, and he couldn't have said it any better. NOW FOR FUN SHENANIGANS, BECAUSE WHO DOESN'T LIKE SHENANIGANS?! BlazingDawn is starting us off with a bang with a Saturday Friendship Cannon Podcast at 12PM EST! We may be in store for a heavy fall of detail, Bill, might need those detail umbrellas! Should be a blast, so make sure you tune in and let BlazingDawn know you love him! UP NEXT, staff! Always talking about staff aren't we? A pony here by the name of Yami is currently on a bit of a hiatus from staff until about mid-June when he will make a return! *cue triumphant music and confetti* I'll just sit here... and wait for the right moment... for the next month... this plan may not have been well thought out on my part... ANYWAY. FlutteryShy has been promoted! He will be working not only on the radio, but also working as a forum moderator! So please give a round of applause and round of brohoofs to Fluttery for stepping up to the plate! Excited to see someone so eager about helping, it's great! He's just as great! He's not the only staff update! We have some *drum roll* * lots of drum roll * * so much drum roll that the old drum roller left and they had to hire a new one * (10 cookies if you get this reference) NEW STAFF! Yes, that's right! Please help me in welcoming Rexhyuga and Jhera as EPN Chat Moderators! They are regulars that have been around for ages and it is my pleasure to now be working along side these wonderful guys! And will be getting their "badges" ('chat powers') sometimes within the next day or so! But wait, there is more! Please help me congratulate DoDo on his position as a forum mod, alongside the promoted Flutteryshy! So three cheers for our promoted and new staff! HIP HIP..... this doesn't work out so well in a single post does it? ;D Also want to let everyone know that Eluuna and Legion, our glorious roleplay moderators, also have chat powers so that they can help out on the RP chats! But just because they are RP people, I still expect you to respect them. They are kind person, so who wouldn't want to be nice to them anyway? <3 "But, Harley!" You say, looking at me with wide and curious eyes that hold a bit of worry. "What about EPRP?" Not to fear, I have that right here in my notecards! Here are the scenarios for EPRP! EPRP EASY: "With the newest knowledge of the location of the necromancer within the Ice Palace, the group has set off to take care of him, stopping the wight flow into the Frozen North." EPRP ADVANCED: "What happens when a large beast begins to terrorize a town of ponies? Can the adventurers handle the job, or will they need to wait it out for the guards? Come and fight to find out!" wow, now that's what I call a community post. So many stuff well: congratulations on promotions and new staff members. Also, I'm glad to see that Friendships Cannon Podcast is still going. I'm so proud.
It was new at one point but the contests are posted then left open for a majority of the month, so by then it slips out of the "New Posts" feed, if that is what you're referring to. You can always just find it under contests, too if you're interested.
Move, Lyra! I can't see the Everypony Community Poo logo! And yeah, on hiatus. I need some time away from the slog of everyday moderating, especially given recent events. So for the next month, I'm just going to be a normal user. I won't be able to mod anything or bring anything up in the staff room because I won't be there. I can still pass messages along, though, if need be.
