Even though I do like pikachu and it's very funny and cute and all but I don't think we'll manage to convey all that much in the way of information this way. Well, maybe I can squeeze it in somewhere... - Pika-pikachu. The 'February is Boring' Giveaway is in it's second week! This week, we ended up giving away a copy of Serious Sam 3: BFE! For those who missed it, we had the epic finale to one of my new favorite games I want to play right this second: Octodad: Dadliest Catch as well as Stop That, Slender, a multiplayer version of Slender. There was also this crayon thing with a cool physics engine and And Yet It Moves which is so pretty, it has to be seen with ones own eyes. Maaaan is it indie looking though! More details are right here, just as they always were! - Piiiikachuuuuu! I was just thinking of that episode of Pokemon were ash is trying to defeat Brock and he tries to make Pikachu stronger. How? By wiring him up to a waterwheel and using that to generate power to feed into Pikachu. Hold up! Since when was he a battery? I imagined the electricity is coming from the same place as an eel except far more powerful. What logic does it make to pump extra energy into him? Anyway, if you don't know what I mean, ask your older brother/sister or Google it. It's all different now. With attempts at character development and following the games themselves more closely. Never would have had that back in my day. Before I completely degenerate into a senile old berk, have a look at this MLP version of one of the most lasting things Saturday Night Live has ever done. I heard that Christopher Walken watches this regularly but has to add the required amount of cowbell himself. I shouldn't know that reference...I haven't ever watched an episode. I am a cute and fluffy fox pretending to be a Pikachu. *ahem* Pika pika. Because of this, you shall do as I say because I am just too cute. And I decree that you all go and give ol' Vulpine a hug and some cheering up. She seems to need it. As does relative newcomer Irelynn Skye. A community can cheer oneself up when your feeling down. Just direct a little joy their way like a critical hit with a Thunder attack! How many weeks have I featured Rockout now? I mean, he needs to stop doing awesome things if he wants to stay off this page. Here's a fun little thing for Hearts and Hooves day! Remember that OC Model he was planning? He finished it! It needs a comb but it seems to be complete. Now he just needs to figure out how to get it to change genders every so often. I also did some arty farty stuff. I also felt the need to ramble on and on. I don't know, I should stop writing things at 3 in the morning. Even more on the arty side of things, Jewel of Rarity has made an excellent looking vector of her OC Sapphire Charmer. It's show accurate and very crisp. I'm impressed. And, even more awesomely, do you remember RyuNeko and his Pony wood carving? Well, not only did he finish and paint his wooden rainbow dash (I think it's his avatar picture now) but he also made and finished a Celestia jewlery box. Again, these look like fantastic pieces any fan would be jealous over. Even more interesting is the fact that he's thinking about showing us a little of how the process works. I'd be up for that, deffinately! Lastly, Yami did a thing about his channel. Always worth a look, I think. You know...Why didn't I go for an arty theme this week rather than Pikachu? I mean, there was a lot more artwork to take note of this week. Ah well! Pika-pika! Pikachuuuu! Chu! Pika! Pika-pika! Chuuu! Don't worry, I'm perfectly OK. Pi, pi, pikachu!
Actually, you made one small error. When you got to the line that speaks of "the heartache and the thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to," you used the word "pika-pik," which is translated to mean an electrical shock. The word for shock that refers to an unpleasant surprise is "pik-pika."
Why is it when I skip a CP for once, I skipped this one? This is an excellent CP, Tyro. EDIT: Goddammit, I hate how posting images works with this entire forum. Here's the link. http://puu.sh/74wbC.jpg
Nobody volunteered to write it, from what I hear, along with a few key staff members being out of action for a while. Staff morale is low. Not a big deal. Happens.
Sorry, but that's honestly not what I heard. Perhaps it was a bit rash of me to post what I did, but you don't have to beat around the bush with things, honestly. There are plenty of people here who have openly said they are willing to work with and help the staff with whatever it is the staff may need help with. While the people may be rather few these days, sometimes being honest with what's happening internally can lead to a lot of good. Which isn't to say you guys are lying, you're just trying to solve the problem internally, and I can respect that. You should just know you've got people here willing to help out too. Which also isn't say that you have to do so. But in my opinion, it'd help tremendously with preventing stagnation.
