Excessive Force? Dozens of dispatched cops shut down a 'illegal' lemonade stand article In a police state, a friendly lemonade stand only asking 10 cents for a cold lemonade got the attention of cops and they dispatched over a dozen to the location to shut down what they call a 'illegal distribution' of lemonade. They arrested all the people that were involved in buying lemonade along with those selling it. Showing unprovoked brute force to anyone who dared step up to the stand.
1. This happened three years ago. 2. The "lemonade stand" that the cops shut down was being run by a group of adult protesters who believe that it's okay to run a business on somebody else's land without permission. I, personally, don't buy from lemonade stands, because they're usually run by kids who know little or nothing about quality control or basic hygiene. While I see nothing wrong with kids trying to make money, teaching them that they don't have to obey the law in order to do so is just bad parenting.
