Something about power. Before it can fully come to your cognition you hear breathing all around you. You struggle to open your eyes, when a soothing female voice enters your head. "Welcome... oh, it seems I don't have your names on file... Oh well. Regardless. Try not to be too evil. You'll find it quite tempting here." And like that you feel yourself lying on the cold concrete floor of an unknown building. A sharp voice yells at you. "Wake up you brainless nuts! It's like ya'll are in a freaking hell coma! WAKE UP!" (Start as you please.)
"What happened?" a familiar voice asked, "I'm king of this damned planet, what happened?" Steel Skull Magnum, or king Magnum , as he preferred from his subjects, had slowly woken up. As he heard some say get up and something about a "hell comma", he slowly did. Pain was coursing through his body, but he knew better to think about it. After 50 years of nothing but military training, SSM was given the chance to be young again, and took that chance. He defeated the ancient and corrupted king/god Zaruenth, something that not even the elements of harmony nor discord combined could pull off. He slowly got up noticing scars all across his body. "What happened?" he asked himself.
"Bout time one of you idgits woke up... and you're king of nothing 'ere. The name's Lillith." The silvery crystal pony stood in front of him, smirking. The female voice echoed in the room. "Steel Skull Magnum. Corruption level, 21% Lillith Necro. Corruption level 55%"
"Corruption level? Wait, do mean corruption is here, I could sworn Blade Runner killed him a couple years ago." SSM remembered Blade, the most powerful being there was. He now had a family. SSM looked around, the room was huge. "Is there anyway out of here?"
Silver Crescent opened his eyes slowly, yawned, and got to his hooves. The black and red of the Alicorn Amulet contrasted sharply with his brilliant silver armor. He looked around at the ponies in the room. Midnight Dawn and Steel Heart, he recognized. The other two, he had never seen before. "Well, that was interesting. What in Tartarus is going on around here?"
Steel Skull turned to the pony that had awoken, "Glad to see your awake. Now then, don't ask me where we are, I just woke not too long ago." 'man i wish blade was here, he has the explosive power, not me.' Steel thought to himself.
"You're not very bright, are you? This ain't your world, cupcake... and I'm sure the building will open a way out for us once the rest of these power-hungry morons wake up." Why don't you go ahead and poke a few of em. I'm not allowed to touch, but you are... so..." She shrugged and wandered off to a corner of the room, where she picked up a stuffed toy that looked like a white cat. She started playing with it, making the rude, corrupt pony appear almost like a child. (I take a while to type >.>) "Silver Crescent. Corruption 65% Warning. Dangerous level."
Steel has been in worse situations, like the time he imprisoned in an Anthropus camp and was tortured for several years. Steel walked around the giant room, studying it. There are plenty cracks, but it wouldn't matter. "So," Steel turned to the pony that had awoken recently, "might as well get introductions over with." Steel noticed the light weighted armor on the pony recognizing who it was. "So, your the general of the New Lunar Republic? I've heard all of the way from the city Sigma that you guys took over Delta, of course, it took you five years."
"Sixty-five percent? That seems high." Silver concentrated, his eyes glowing brightly with magical energy. He spoke in low tone, "Silver Crescent. Corruption fifty percent." "Silver Crescent. Corruption fifty percent," the voice agreed. The strain of using such powerful magic caused Silver to fall to his knees. He got back up several moments later, cursing. "Damn, that was rough, I won't be doing that again."
(A+ alicorn amulet dude) After hearing the voice agree with Silver, Lillith stood up and rushed over to him. "Did you just do what I think you did? Can you drop mine down? PLEASE? The blasted jerks behind this place punished me for hitting 50 and took away Sparkles... I WANT MY CAT BACK!"
After studying the room more, Steel got an the idea of whats happening. 1- A big dark room, 2- no escape, and 3- The weird pony in the corner. "Hmph, this looks like a game, a survival game at that." Steel smirked, knowing that he may not survive, but will try his damnedest to do so. He walked towards Silver Crescent, "Someones watching us," Steel said, "And all of us are the entertainment. Plus, if your corruption level is at 50 now, then you are probably the first to not make it."
Silver groaned. His head was killing him. "Sorry. I can't help you, there. It going to take some time before I can use that power again." Without a horn to focus the magical energy, the power that he had stolen from Celestia was proving to be difficult to control.
Steel watched Lillith. As usual, Steel just sat and watched. "Tell me, how exactly does your corruption grow?"
"You are jerks too! I hope you both fall to the dark lord!" She stops for a second. "Actually no... I don't... When my friends did, the only thing that saved me was Sparkles and he's gone. AHHHHHH!" The young crystal pony grabbed her stuffed toy and curled up into a ball, mumbling to herself.
*sigh* "I need to know, how can corruption grow? Madness? Hatred? I need to know now." Steel sighed again, figuring that the crazy pony lost her mind. He then pulled out his war hammer, and walked towards the wall. Steel stood on his two back hooves, held his weapon in his front hooves, and started smashing away.
Everywhere Steel hit, the wall immediately restored. The female voice echoed. "Destruction of the premises will result in high gain of corruption. Please refrain from doooming yourself and your allies."
As he heard the voice, Steel slowly stopped. "What are we suppose to then? Rot? Is there even a way out of here, or are doomed to this poor excuse for a room?"
"We could try asking the voice open the door." Silver sighed. It wasn't his best idea ever, but it was worth a shot. "Hey! Weird Voice! Would you be so kind as to open the door and let us into the next area?"
"While i'm waiting," Steel pulled out a bottle of vodka and started taking small drinks out of it. He only had two bottles left, so he had to make them count.
The lights flickered, and suddenly there was a fancy doorway, with no actual door, where Steel had been hitting. On the other side of it was what appeared to be the lobby to a doctors office. There were several cushioned chairs, a clock, which was stopped at 2:30, and a window next to the door to the concrete room. The window showed a small overgrown courtyard, even though it should only show the concrete wall of the room next to it.
