You have been summoned as an agent of the Royalty of Equestria. You might be a Guardspony, you might be a Royal Detective or you might be a more personal Agent. You might even have come from the sovereignty of somewhere far away. A distant king or perhaps from the Everfree Forest's own realms protector.

You've been summoned to investigate a squirrel that's been talking. It's bitten most of the other wizards and scholars, swarn at a few others and largely caused mischief and chaos whenever it's been taken out of it's little glass dome. This thing is a purple and black creature with pointed fangs, blank luminous eyes and huge, bushy tail that's formed spikes. Something vicious has taken control of this creature, morphing it into a horrid thing that seems all too please to batter and bruise anything within earshot with it's foul-mouth. Testing has found it has enhanced strength and even magical ability, though somewhat limited for a belligerent squirrel. There are reports of it happening to a rabbit and even the toy's of a foal.

The prevailing theory? The entity Princess Luna allied with to become Nightmare Moon and win over the affection of her people has resurfaced and appears to be attempting to find a suitable host. Quite obviously, you've been asked to take care of it. You are (hoped) to be the best of the Organisation you come from, holding knowledge, expertise or skills that will help you track down this creature then hopefully, put an end to it forever.

After all, it's only a matter of time before it tries to bond with innocent ponies again.

The plan is to try and run a Tabletop Adventure on Everypony and we're going to be doing that with TV series friendly system Cortex Plus. The reason I've invoked EPRP 2 here is because we'll also be working on aspects that are applicable to MLP:FiM but aren't applicable to the version of Cortex Plus I have that's geared towards the Firefly universe. The system is easily patched over but does need some additions to properly work. Effectively, I'm making a Pony rules mod to an existing system I like and can handle.

For instance, Races are not a thing in Cortex Plus and that'll be one of the first things I'll be working with you on to help create. Another is the concept of magic, which will end up as a racial skill only certain races shall have. So Alicorns, Unicorns, Psiren, Changelings and so on. Though, we've got to balance that with other race, like the Strength of Earth Ponies and general handiness (likely natural bonuses to Craft or Labor) while Pegasai also have their flight and natural agility.

Though, I'm always fascinated by the outlier races like Minotaurs or Deer or Griffons so please throw anything you like at me and I'll try my best to accommodate. I am the doofus that settled on 'Japanese fox spirit' as a race myself so I can handle convoluted or weird.

So, let's do this and this will require a bit of doing but it's worth it, I think.

    Basics of Cortex Plus
You have three Attributes: Physical, Mental and Social. Each one is rated with the size of a die, ranging from d4 to d12 and no higher. You also have a list of skills that are also rated from d4 to d12 to indicate how potentially awesome you are at certain things.

When you make an action, every action is made up of an Attribute and a Skill. So, making a difficult maneuver in the air would be a Physical Fly roll because it's a Physical act that needs skill in flying. However, teaching somepony how to pull of a complex trick might be a Mental Fly roll as it requires thought. Analysing another pony's flying to try to figure out what they're about to do might be a Social Fly roll as it requires the knowledge of body language and flying technique.

Making a roll like this makes a Dice Pool. Your dice pool can have any number of dice in it but when rolled, only the two highest rolls count towards the total. The more dice in a pool, the more likely you'll get a good score. You can add extra dice to your pool with relevant Distinctions, Assets and Signature Assets.

Distinctions are aspects of your character's skills, knowledge or background that help them succeed in certain situations. You typically only get three though they can be upgrades to offer more abilities later on. All Distinctions can add a d8 to a dice pool if they would help in a situation.

An Asset is a thing that's useful. It can be an item - like a weapon or a tool, a person - like a contact or a relative willing to help, or a general mood or demeanor radiating from a character - such as actively looking angry or totally infatuated. If they help, they can add a d6 to your dice pool but they cost a Plot Point to be brought into the game. They are temporary and only usable while applicable. Once there no longer of use, they are gone. However, they can be easily created from anywhere when needed IF it's reasonable for it to be there. You can't summon Batman riding on Timothy Dalton's shoulders in a bar unless there are some very strange circumstances to allow it (like a dreamscape perhaps) but it is reasonable to create a barstool as a weapon or find cheep liquor to get somepony drunk.

Plot Points are the currency with which you by abilities. An ability you always have is to summon Assets, as long as it's reasonable for you to have one ("Ah ha! My lucky lighter! How useful!") but you're Distinctions may also have abilities that allow you to earn Plot Points or pay Plot Points for powerful abilities ("I pay a Plot Point in order to start a rumour of a bad-flank applebucker in town of my description. That ought to help get Mildly Smelly Joe out of hiding!"). You may also earn Plot Points for good roleplay and you may also earn them for rolling a 1 in your Dice Pool and earning a Complication (effectively, an Anti-Asset that is rolled against you whenever you perform an action requiring a roll).

Finally, you have Signature Assets. These are possessions, contacts, general vibes given off by your character, and, for our purposes, abilities your character has that are unique to them and them only. They are defining assets of theirs and remain with them for the entire game (unless something changes that). These are brought at character creation and start of by adding a d6 to your Dice Pool if applicable. They may also be upgraded with extra abilities, like a Distinction, and can increase the Die Size it provides to a d8 and so on. A Signature Asset could be a spyglass your character always carries, a lucky spanner, a picture in their wallet of a loved one. It could be the aura of a pony that's seen too much or a contagious good mood that simply infects everyone around them. It could even extend to the ability to walk on clouds or transform their appearance. It's pretty loose.

These parts of your character add extra dice to your Dice Pool and allow you better odds at beating the opposed roll you make to succeed, often made by the GM and usually given before you roll. You are allowed to spend Plot Points to add extra dice from your Pool to your final score, allowing you to succeed in a crucial moment if it looks like you've fallen short. The GM and their NPC's are also able to do this but remember that the 'defending' (or 'acted upon') side of any action sets the score to beat, whether thats an NPC or even a player.

Hmm...No interest. Let's keep yammering on in the hope someone'll be interested. Eh-hem!

    Races

Races here are to be treated as a Distinction that grants bonuses and free starter stuff while also offering up a d8 for use in Dice Pools for when you're race is relevant (perhaps as a point of pride or of compassion when convincing someone). They do not have Triggers that can be upgraded later one like a Distinction but are effectively archetypes to be taken at the start of a game when creating a character. A Race can be turned into a Complication for a Scene by your GM if they choose but must swap it for 2 Plot Points as it's something rather easy to exploit after that. You'll need the help.

    Earth Pony - d8
Stable, hard-working and versatile ponies of the world
    - Take a free Speciality (an extra d6 to roll in a certain situation) on any skill that's d6 or above
    - You can either gain a 'Resilient and Hardy d6' Signature Asset or a 'Workhorse Mentality d6' Signature Asset for free

    Unicorn - d8
Magical and often scholarly types of the world
    - Gain the Magic Skill at d4.
    - If you raise your Magic Skill above a d6, you may take a free Speciality for it.

    Pegasus - d8
Nimble and agile fliers of the world
    - Gain the Fly Skill at d4
    - Gain the 'Cloudwalking d6' Signature Asset for free

    Changeling - d8
Shapeshifting creatures normally known for trickery
    - Gain the 'Shapeshift d6' Signature Asset for free
    - Gain the Fly Skill at d4

    Alicorn - d8
Regal and often important creatures of the world
    - Gain the Fly Skill at d4 and the Magic skill at d4
    - You are considered high profile and valuable at all times. If your Race it turned into a Complication in a scene (most often causing a scene by an Alicorn just being there), it's immediately stepped up to a d10.

    Zebra - d8
Friendly people from a far off land with a knowledge of potions
    - If your Craft skill is higher than d6, you gain the 'Potions' speciality
    - If your Know skill is higher than d6, you may take another Know speciality

    Baby Dragon - d8
Small, scaly friends adopted by ponies for life
    - Your Physical Attribute is not allowed to be higher than d6
    - Gain the 'Breathes Fire d6' Signature Asset and 'Eats Gems and Jewels d6' Signature Asset
(Ability to send messages can be added later as Signature Assets gain Trigger abilities too over time)

    Draconequus - d8
Chaotic and mismatched looking creatures of great magical power
    - Gain the Magic Skill and the 'Shapeshift d6' Signature Asset
    - You are considered high profile and troublesome at all times. If your Race is turned into a Complication in a scene (most often by being recognised as a Draconequus), it's immediately stepped up to a d10 Complication.

    Minotaur - d8
Often business minded and bulky creatures that sport great strength
    - If you step up your Physical Attribute and step down any other Attribute, you may step up the Physical Attribute a second time but step down another Attribute in the process.
    - Gain the 'Sturdy Horns d6' Signature Asset

    Diamond Dog - d8
Undesirable and unfortunate dwellers that covet shiny jewels
    - Instead of starting with a d8 in each Attribute, Diamond Dogs start with a d12 in the Physical Attribute but a d6 in both Mental and Social Attributes
    - Gain a 'Digging' Speciality in the Labor Skill and a 'Shiny Things' Speciality in the Notice Skill

    Griffon - d8
Aggressive and intimidating with talons, beaks, wings but a Lion backend.
    - Gain the Fly Skill
    - Gain 'Beak d6' Signature Asset and 'Talons d6' Signature Asset

And then I started making up weird ones...

    Kitsune - d8
Rare and strange creatures that are long lived and can breathe fire
    - You are considered High Profile and unusual at all times. If your Race is turned into a Complication in a scene (most often by being Recognised), it is immediately stepped up to a d10
    - Instead of starting with a d8 in each Attribute, Kitsune start with a d4 in the Physical Attribute but a d10 in both Mental and Social Attributes
    - Gain the 'Kitsune Bi d6' Signature Asset with the Trigger ability 'Pay 1 Plot Point to produce a 'Fire Ball d6' Asset
    - Gain the Shapeshift Skill at d4 and the Illusion Skill a d4
    - The Labor Skill cannot be any higher than a d4
    - Automatically make the Kitsune Race a Complication whenever this character is involved in an action that requires 'Great Strength' to succeed
    - Gain the 'Undying d6' Signature Asset with the Trigger Ability 'When you Die in a scene, your Race is changed to 'Spirit Form d12' and is immediately turned into a complication. While this Complication is active, you are an intangible spirit that cannot touch anything and is only visible by magical or spiritual means. If the Spirit Form d12 is removed from play, your Race is set to Kitsune d8 again and you return to normal.
    - Undying also gains the Trigger Ability 'Pay 1 Plot Point to Step Back any Complication to do with dying, death or spirits

    Psiren - d8
Rare and mystical creatures of myth that can sing to ensnare the attention of others.
    - You are considered High Profile at all times. If your Race is turned into a Complication in a scene (most often by being Recognised), is is immediately stepped up to a d10
    - Gain the Magic skill
    - Gain the 'Singing' Speciality in the Perform skill

    Pikachu - d8
    Because I want to, damnit!
    - You cannot speak. You are only capable of speaking 'Pokemon', which is to say that you are only capable of communicating verbally with variations on 'Pikachu'.
    - Instead of a d8 in each Attribute, you begin with a d6 in Social and a d10 in Physical
    - Gain the 'Electric Type d6' Signature Asset with the 'Spend 1 Plot Point to expel Electricity from your body and throw it at a given target'

    Sandwich - d1
    I might be getting hungry
    - You are a sandwich and cannot move or speak. All Attributes are set to a d1, all Skills are at a d1. You effectively fail everything can cause nothing but complications.
    - You are delicious and can fill a stomach. If you're eaten, the person that eats you gains a 'Yummy yum d20' Asset for that scene for feeling full.

    I don't know anymo....

Finally! Someone to play with! I THOUGHT I'D BE ALL ALONE!

OK, so what sort of thing are you thinking of playing as? The point of this is that we're most likely going to be learning as we're playing as this system isn't universally known. It's simple as all dang heck but it takes a little getting used to, especially as I start introducing a new extra mechanic that might end up sitting over the entire thing like a sack of potatoes.

On one hand, it's a way of working in limitations of species in as a game mechanic. Though it also reads as 'I made Racism a thing the GM can throw at you and you have to deal with' so it may have a few tweaks.

But yes, please give me as much information as you possibly can. We're not going for something particularly crunch heavy and your personality, background and such are all far more important than calculating carry weight based on strength times size variable times 'Do You Even Lift' co-efficient plus 10 like in other systems. It's very social and puzzlely. You can fight things very easily but it's not as much of a focus so please feel free to make anything from a basket weaver to a scientist specialising in hallucinogens or what-hath-ye.

While having powers and gadgets and stuff is wonderful, Cortex Plus is built more for TV shows and films. And what does a TV show character use to get through an episode? They're wits and Distinctions. While D&D and Pathfinder focuses on what you can do, Cortex Plus focuses on who your character is. Your character is your tool kit and your greatest weapon.

The lovely thing is that all Distinctions can apply to anything and potentially grant bonuses if applicable because each also comes with a d8 to drop into a Dice Pool. They also come with a list of special abilities to allow you to take full advantage of your characters skills, knowledge and talents. They can be pretty much anything. Anything that can give you the seeds to grow a narrative. Often, these are abilities that allow your character to gain Plot Points at the cost of a situational issue or to create advantages at the cost of those all-important Plot Points. It's all there to help you succeed but not without some enjoyable bumps along the way. So, some examples for consideration:

Oh! And all Distinctions have the ability to gain a Plot Point if you roll a d4 instead of a d8 when the Distinction is in play. I won't be adding that because it's a given. All distinctions also have Highlighted Skills. Highlighted Skills mean that the skill is automatically raised to the next higher die but is also easier to increase in level at character creation!

    Career Distinctions:

    Royal Guard - d8
You are a proud defender of the realm and of the royalty you safeguard. A soldier of honour.
    Chain of Command:
Gain 1 Plot Point when you step up a Complication because of orders you received from your superiors.
Sir, Yes, Sir: Spend 1 Plot Point to create an Asset at a d8 to represent a specialist under your command.
    Highlighted Skills: Fight, Notice, Shoot

    Royal Detective - d8
Honour-bound investigator for Equestria and her people that handle the strange and unknown
    Every Detail Counts:
Double Know or Notice for a roll when investigating a crime scene. Step back your Social Attribute for the rest of the scene.
I Bet You're All Wondering Why I Brought You Here: Gain a Plot Point for successfully explaining the deep and complicated line of reasoning you underwent to arrive at the conclusions about the case you did.
    Highlighted Skills: Notice, Operate, Know

    Baker - d8
Creator of cakes. Father of French Fancies. Mother of Meringue!
I Think I Have Something Somewhere:
Pay 1 Plot Point to root around in your stores and rummage up a Asset d6 representing a cake or load of biscuits you were saving for just the right occasion.
Artistic Soul: Gain a Plot Point whenever someone insults your creations.
    Highlighted Skills: Craft, Notice, Operate

    Train Driver - d8
An expert in operating the curiously bright-coloured trains that carry ponies to and fro
    Panic Stations:
Spend 1 Plot Point at the beginning of a Timed Action involving locomotive repair or modification. For each of your rolls, during the Timed Action, you may reroll any die that comes up 1 instead of accepting a Plot Point on that die.
Trust Me On This: Spend 1 Plot Point to step up or double your Train's Engine Attribute for your next roll as you use your knowledge of the machine to it's limit.
    Highlighted Skills: Drive, Operate, Fix

    Wonderbolt Wannabe - d8
An eager hopeful looking to try and prove they're ready to fly with some stellar legends
    And For My Next Trick:
If you replace your Fly or Pilot skill with a d4 for your next roll, gain a Big Damn Hero Die equal to that Skill's normal die rating if your roll is successful.
Still Working On It: Gain a Plot Point when you fail a trick you were attempting to show off.
Highlighted Skills: Fly or Pilot, Move Perform
(This Distinction has four Highlighted Skills because the Fly skill is only applicable to races that are capable of flight. For characters without the natural ability to fly, like Earth Ponies and Unicorns, they have the Pilot skill such as balloons, helicopter bicycles or even actual aircraft. Why not have an Earth Pony that wants to fly in a big whirly-gig he invented?)

    Personality Distinctions:

    Heart of Gold - d8
Deep down, you're a good egg though you might not always let on.
    Gruff Exterior:
Gain 1 Plot Point when you try to scare off a new acquaintance or make a rough first impression.
Softie: When helping a party member, spend 1 Plot Point to step up the die you lend them for the roll
    Highlighted Skills: Labour, Operate, Treat

    Fashionable - d8
You attend the most exclusive parties, dress in the latest fashions, and bring a long the best company.
    Clout:
Step back Influence until the end of the next scene to remove a social Complication.
I Don't Wait In Line: You may spend a Plot Point to gain entry to an exclusive club or party without an invitation.
    Highlighted Skills: Fight, Move, Perform

    Sore Loser - d8
They cheated! You weren't ready! The sun was in your eyes! Double or nothing!
    Sulk:
Step up a Complications gained in a contest you lost fair and square to gain 1 Plot Point.
Cheat to Win: Create a d8 Asset of your choice when you openly cheat or lie to win a contest
    Highlighted Skills: Fight, Focus, Know

    Tortured Soul - d8
A one to wrap themselves up in themselves, hugging the wall and refusing to share their soul pain.
    Internal Weeping:
Gain a Plot Point when you refuse to lend assistance to a Party Member because the burden of your life has become too much to bear for the moment.
Byronic: Spend a Plot Point to create a Social Complication for someone of your choosing to represent the long, drawn-out meander through your miserable existence upon your world slowly choking the joy out of them.

    Background Distinctions:

    Big Family - d8
Doesn't matter what you're doing, I'm sure there's some distant relative that could help.
    Actually, My Cousin's Sister Knows...:
Spend 1 Plot Point to create a d6 Asset when you call in a Relative you know with the skills you need. Take a 'Won't Work for Free d8' Complication to step up the Asset.
Idle Gossip From Idle Aunts: You may attempt to get information out of your large family ties. When you do this, make a Social Know roll. If successful, create a d6 asset about the information. Take a 'Half The Story d8' Complication to step up the new Asset.
    Highlighted Skills: Influence, Labour, Perform

    Well Travelled - d8
You've travelled all over and know plenty about the world though there's little left to surprise you.
    Been There:
Create a d8 Asset when you ask for help from an old contact. If you use this Asset in a roll and fail, your contact turns against you. The GM will reveal why they set you up for a fall.
Done That: When you tell a Party Member about a situation from your past, similar to the one you face now, gain a new speciality for the rest of the scene. Take or step up a Social Complication reflecting your past.
    Highlighted SKills: Focus, Notice, Sneak

    Drunk - d8
Hard Cider and Wine are where your expertise lie, mainly in the disposing and withstanding of their effects. To you, it's a super power. To others, it's a problem.
    Functional Alcoholic:
Start every Episode with a Drunk d6 Complication. Step it up to reroll a die on a failed Action. Once it exceeds d12, you are out until given medical treatment.
Gaps in Memory: Gain 1 Plot Point to reveal that you don't remember or recall the events of a previous scene in which you had an active Drunk Complication.
    Highlighted Skills: Influence, Move, Perform

See? Distinctions arm every character with what they need to succeed. They can be anything! Literally anything! You can mix and match from here or we'll make up new ones just for you.

Gender: Female (you forgot to add this I guess)
    Home: Canterlot
Organisation Affiliated With: Royal detective agency
    Profession: Royal detective
    Bio:
Born in the woods, she never left her home from her small family. She always avoided travelers that went into the area where her home was to protect the fact that most ponies thought of them as myths, something they had been doing for a long time. She kept doing it until she was mature enough and travel far beyond the forest. She explored it and after a few years she knew it's layout by memory, although sometimes using a map at home to remember things. An thing she always found odd was about... well, herself. She never knew where her family came from, or even who was her family past her parents. Also, she felt that perhaps she had more power inside her. She was able to create a small fire out of her mouth and over time make it bigger for self defense, but still, perhaps there was more to her than she though.
It was until a somewhat old traveler got lost and passed out that she ever had contact with a pony first. She took the pony to a nearby cave, but couldn't reveal herself as a kitsune, so she took some clothing from her home to hide her tails and help the traveler.
The pony, in return once he felt better, took her to Canterlot, which was his destination. He revealed that he was a detective for the royal Canterlot detective agency and was curious about her talents.
He started teaching her about his profesiĂ³n and she grew interested. She started studding and coming up with solutions even to some odd cases the pony had trouble figuring out. She had talent.
After some time, he decided to teach her about his job and make her a full detective. She helped him with some small cases but she passed his expectations and convinced the pony convinced his superiors to hire her. Although the pony suspected there was more to her.
It was really hard for her to hide her tails below her clothing, but she always managed to do it somehow. It was not until she got her trench coat that she managed to hide them easily thanks to the size of it, although from time to time her tails will flick about, making it hard for her to hide them at the same time.
She is currently a young detective that still needs a big case to solve.

    Appearance:
A fully silver coated fox with two, silver tails that end up with light blue tips, the fur around her paws having the same color. Her tails are not that long, making them easy to hide.
Has a short muzzle and a cute face, it being the same color as most of her body, and her ears are the same color as the tip of her tails.
She is small in size compared to many ponies, perhaps the size of about a young filly, and a slender figure.

Now, the hilarious thing was that I was that I put down Kitsune and assumed no one would want to play one because they're way more complicated than everything else, just like every RPG system I've tried to push my interpretation of them into. The cycle of energy and circumvention of death as mechanics is very hard to pull off so this is going to be rather strange. I tried building something similar in GURPS and it came out to something ridiculous.

It's also funny because I was going to throw in some of my headcannon characters because I like them, which includes the Royal Detectives, which includes Tyro. This gets kinda weird with the head cannon for Kitsune within Equestria.

The short version is that there are none. Equestria is capable of traversing other realities so it's reasonable that Kitsune might have been able to as well, with only scant mentions of a brief visit a good few centuries ago. If Kitsune have still been in Equestria, it'll be for some seriously strange reasons. Congratulations, you have a reason for your character to have no idea who truly are and now idea how to use their natural abilities effectively. You have a character trait right there so..

It never truly feels like you've fit in. It's bothersome quite often.
    Just Messin' With Them:
Create or step up a Social Complication to do with a believable lie about you in order to Double your Influence for that scene.
Just Relax and Carry On: Gain a Plot Point whenever somepony says something about you that is blatantly false and unflattering that you ignore.
    Highlighted Skills: Trick, Influence, Focus

Two very different personalities suggested there that might grant some interesting possibilities for Roleplay. But, that's solely based on this one thing that's my creation, not yours. It's also why this bits here.

What I should have said is 'Personality'. But, there's some things we can work on from here based on what you've given me.

    Because, yes.

    Kind and Just - d8
You believe in doing good, no matter what!
    Selfless Soul:
Gain a Plot Point and take a Complication away from another player if it could be applied to you as well.
Softie: When helping a party member, spend 1 Plot Point to step up the die you lend them for the roll
    Highlighted Skills: Labour, Operate, Treat

I don't know about your character yet so it's the best I can do. So, tell me about what makes them tick. Also, appearance of Kitsune is simple: they look roughly like Tyro. The show has not officially said anything about them so they look like this.

Alright. I added more stuff and edited a bit the bio to add the 'dont know about my own power!' part, as I really liked the idea you suggested, and added the Detective trait to a skill rather than a personality, as I think it would fit there more.

The personality I had in mind for her was the 'I wanna be a supper hero when I grow up!' style, being more on the 'I do this because is the right thing to do, and is what a hero would do', making her perhaps a bit childish as well, but always with good intentions.

I also added the list of traits to an new one (as well as in species) So I don't loose it and is easier to find)

You should choose the three that are the most applicable to your character. If the ones that I chose not applicable to what you wrote (And you can change them because I just made them up on the fly), let me know and I'll make new ones. These distinctions have to reflect your character in the strongest of terms in order to make them worth having.

So, Royal Detective would be perfect for a Royal Detective. I would only take the ones about being a social outcast if its something that you feel you'll be using alot.

Okay. Made some changes. How about now? ( I added a small description so you understand what I kinda trying to say with the one I put it.)
I really liked the fact my char doesn't know her abilities, so I am keeping that one along with the royal detective one

Sorry. No, you still have too many. You must only have 3 Distinctions overall. Too many and you're way, way, waaaay too powerful! You're skills are too high and you have no room to grow and you can throw powerful dice in too often. Only three.

I'd recommend 'Royal Detective', 'Clueless and Super Powered' and 'Walking Novelty' but you're allowed to go with something else if it represents your character better. Remember: you don't have to have the 'Royal Detective' distinction to be a Royal Detective.

I am going with what you said then. Mostly to have it ready and if I plan on making another char or someone wants to do it, will have it for reference.
    But anyways.
how about now? There are 3 now:

Perfect. Your character sheet currently looks like this:

    Silver Soulfire

    Mental - d10
    Physical - d4
    Social - d10

    Kitsune - d8

Rare and strange creatures that are long lived and can breathe fire
    - You are considered High Profile and unusual at all times. If your Race is turned into a Complication in a scene (most often by being Recognized), it is immediately stepped up to a d10
    - Undying also gains the Trigger Ability 'Pay 1 Plot Point to Step Back any Complication to do with dying, death or spirits'

    Distinctions
    A Walking Novelty - d8

    Skills
    • Craft - d4
    • Drive - d4
    • Fight - d4

    • Pilot - d4
    • Focus - d6
    • Illusion - d4

If the Spirit Form d12 is removed from play, your Race is set to Kitsune d8 again and you return to normal.
    - Pay 1 Plot Point to Step Back any Complication to do with dying, death or spirits

Couple more steps to go. First, choose a highlighted skill from your second Distinction 'Clueless and Super Powered' as the last one is a choice based on your Race.

Next, see the Trigger Skills underneath each Distinction? Each of them is currently locked and unable to be used but you may choose two of them to unlock right now. Please choose only two from your three Distinctions.

Then notice that each highlighted skill is underlined. It's also been raised to a higher die every time it's been 'highlighted' by a Distinction. You now have 9 points to spend on any skill you like in order to step them up to the next highest size and make them better than a d4. Highlighted or Underlined skills cost you 1 point to step up each time, normal skills cost 2.

    Make sense?

I chose Illusion, so added a +2d to it, since I noticed that you did that with the others.
The blue skills are the one I chose so you know
And decided to simply add outside the d the extra I added so is easier to see what I moved

If the Spirit Form d12 is removed from play, your Race is set to Kitsune d8 again and you return to normal.
    - Pay 1 Plot Point to Step Back any Complication to do with dying, death or spirits

Looking great. Now, one last bit before we continue.

Skill Specialities attach to your Skills and indicate a situation where that skill is considered especially useful or your character is extra adept at utilising their abilities to solve a problem. So, that sizeable Sneak skill might have a 'Smuggling' Speciality to indicate a knack for hiding things from security or maybe 'Crowds' to show that your character can vanish into groups of people easily. They're short and grant a d6 to a dice roll with that skill if relevant but the skill must be higher than d6 to be applicable.

Your Know is a d6 so you get a free Know Speciality on top of everything else.

Signature Assets you know about and this is where you can boost either the ones you have, make new ones or add specialties to skills. You have 5 points to spend here and you can either:
    • Add a Speciality to a Skill d6 or Higher
    • Create a Signature Asset at a d6
    • Step up a Signature Asset to a d8
Each of these actions is a point and you may step up the Signature Assets you already have. Choose wisely. And that Free Know Speciality doesn't count towards your total.

    Alright:

Know Specialty: Mystic/Spiritual knowledge (knows some more about spirits and stuff)

Sneak Specialty: Smuggling (It would go well with the bio I made)
Notice Specialty: Pattern anĂ¡lisis (something like, can notice and analize patters on things more easily or something like that)
Fighting Specialty: Dodge (better at dodging attacks)

Step up both to d8 signature assets I already have

All right. You are done. The last step is to make any minor changes in your Bio to reflect the character we have here better. I've gone for Occult instead of Mystical/Spiritual knowledge because it's a little broader and encompases both. Instead of pattern analysis, because I have no idea what that's supposed to be judging by your discription, I figured it would make sense to be Small Details instead.

Otherwise, I'll make an IC, we can get this going.
