iv wanted to start an airsoft team since i started playing the game three and a half years ago. this thread is to create that team.
i have a few ideas for the team but im open to ideas and any suggestions.

working on a custom rifle for the team if it ever takes off, bun even if it doesn't ill have a unique rifle for my collection. im taking a basic super 9 spring rifle and making a military style wood stock to replace the modern plastic one, i was gonna use apple wood but i cant seem to fined it in the size boards i need so im gonna go with cherry wood, and make a foam bayonet for the rifle as well. i chose to use a uhc super 9 cause its cheap and reliable according to the reviews (i do realize its a five shot sell ejecting rifle, i found a way to keep from losing the shells in skirmishes, and the it being a spring rifle means performance would not be effected by weather, and the fps is low enough to use at closer ranges) i know the team would be out gunned most of the time but that's how i like to play, i always use mid caps with realistic ammo cap, except for my current sniper rifle. im also working on 3 different machine guns, the first is the easiest to make cause its an aeg gearbox inside an mg08 spendu shell, the others are gonna be hard to make, there both gonna be spring crank operated, the first is based off of the Gardner gun, the second off of the Gatling gun probable the bulldog Gatling.

i have an idea for the uniform aswell, being the "lunar infantry Reg" i thought grey Wehrmacht uniforms would be perfect (removing all Nazi symbols from the uniforms of course and replace them with Luna inspired symbols) iv found a couple places that sell the uniforms at a decent price for reproductions, the type of game and combat role would dictate the field gear the team members would ware. for a one day event basic gear would be used, for a 24 or longer game a rucksack with food and extra water and extra bbs, officers and medics would carry gas onto the field if their pistol is gas or co2, medics basic kit would consist a medic bag and a rifle or pistol, canteen, and a foam combat knife/bayonet, and ammo/utility pouches. basic kit for riflemen would consist of one canteen, rifle ammo/utility pouches, bayonet, rifle. basic sniper kit would consist of two canteens, rifle/pistol/utility pouches, bandolier, combat knife, scoped rifle, pistol, compass, and map of the field. saw gunners basic kit (for the mobile version of the mg08) would consist of one canteen, large ammo/utility pouches, pistol ammo pouches, combat knife, pistol, mg08/15. machine gun crews basic kit would consist of two canteens, one set of rifle pouches and one set of pistol pouches, one bayonet and one combat knife, one mg ammo box, one rifle, one pistol, and one tripod mounted machine gun. the basic officers kit would consist of one canteen, pistol/rifle/utility pouches, bayonet, sword, one pistol, one rifle.

let me know what you think of my ideas even if your not going to join id like some feed back.

now have a group page on pony square http://ponysquare.com/pages/1054/

I know of a person that I go to school with that has an airsoft team here in South Texas. Forgot to mention he and his buddies are ex-military. I still want to get into it though.

those are the best airsofters to play with (within my experience). walmart has started to carry some decent guns, most of them are online only though.
