jojuja Here you go. Sorry about uploading it so late, I had to go somewhere in a hurry. Anyway, just feel free to start whenever.
Nicole was wandering down the hallway, dressed in a grey sweater and having long curly auburn colored hair. She wasn't one of the cool kids, she was actually far from it. She was one of the more socially awkward people in the school, while everybody essentially labeled her as a nerd. She didn't mind however, until one of the girls tripped her over that sent her to the ground, and her books along with her.
Charles, in his jean and a polo shirt, watch the events before walking over holding a hand out for her,a lock his long black hair falling in front of his one of his eyes. "You alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Nicole replied while she was picking up her books. "Fall wasn't that bad, didn't injure myself." She then said while looking up, where her eyes were suddenly locked between hers and Charles.
She weakly smiled back, she didn't really know just what happened then. She tried to make small talk to think about what has just happened. "Um....thank you for helping me. I...guess that I will see you around ?"
"Sure, feel free to say hi if you see me around." with that he waved and walked off to classes then later lunch
Some time just at the beginning of lunch, posters went up around the school promoting the school prom that's set to occur next week. Of course, all of the popular girls took a keen interest and instantly sought out to purchase expensive clothing and other needless items. All of the couples on the floor, dancing with each other under a peaceful disco ball as romantic music played to make the night memorable. This would have been great news, if Nicole had a boyfriend. She certainly wasn't any of the popular students in the school, she was more adorkable then anything. She adjusted her black nerdish glasses and set about looking around in her locker, waiting until later to catch a glimpse of the posters. Of course, she was kidding herself when she thought that she would be able to have a good time there. Everybody at the school avoids her like she is radioactive, why would anybody want to go out with her? Emily eventually made it to the cafeteria, which was always full of activity. As she walked past however, plenty of the cool kids talked under their breath about her. One of them threw a scrunched up piece of paper at the back of her head, which did cause some laughter in that group. She never really belonged anyway. Pretty soon, she could detect Charles waving at her from the other side of the cafeteria to get her attention
Seeing Emily from the other side of the room he waved her over, having already got his food, once she was over he ask "Hey how you doing?"
She took a seat down across from Charles before signing deeply. "Not great. Just another day of people taunting me for not conforming to something that I've never wanted to be in the first place. The proms happening next week, so this isn't really helping"
"Me neither" Emily responded. "Everybody's just so happy to be with each other that it paints a bad picture on everyone that isn't as fortunate to have a relationship. It's like they enjoy rubbing it in the faces of everyone."
"wow, you know now that i think about it you're right. I just didn't have a real reason to go, what with no close friends or what not."
"And besides, I'd just be miserable if I went anyway. I mean..." Emily paused before laughing to herself for a moment. "The food's free and all, but I don't really see the point in going out of my way to feel like garbage."
Charles nodded with small chuckle "ya, not the best of times. Especially watching all the girls in heels, it hurts my ankles to watch."
"I just like normal shoes, I'd break my leg if I went in those" Emily replied before looking at Chris. "So um...thank you for helping me before. I never really had anybody at the school to be there for me. Haven't seen you around here before, are you new here ?"
