Cyanside and Blitz had both been told of a meeting. They knew it was in Ponyville town center. What they had not expected was the news they would recieve. On the stage was Rainbow Dash, a grey Pegasus with a black and white mane, another grey pegasus with a blonde mane, and Fluttershy. Everypony in the crowd was a pegasus. Rainbow Dash steps up to the stage. "Ok, glad to know that everyone is here. I regret to say, that all Unicorns and Earth Ponies in Ponyville have dissappeared. Nopony knows where the have gone either. We have several groups who will go to look for them. This may sound extremely diffficult, but, as a team, we can find them. The four leaders of the Search will be me, Fluttershy, Derpy hooves and the one with the black and white mane, who is called Dark Shine. Join who you wish to go with, but remember, we must find them. Dark Shine will explain the rest." Rainbow steps back as the pony called Dark Shine walked forward. "As you have been told, the Earth Ponies and Unicorns have gone missing, and we need to find them. Rainbow Dash is going to take anypony with her to go check Appleloosa and anywhere that way. Fluttershy is going through the Everfree forest towards Trottingham. Derpy is going to check Las Pegasus to Tartarus. I will take a group to check Canterlot. Please choose who you are going with. We will leave tommorrow so that everyone can get accustomed to there groups. If you go with me, you will need to fly slow, as we are taking the dragon assistant of Twilight Sparkle, called Spike." He looks to the crowd. "Please sort yourselves into groups of who to go with."
Cyanside promptly hoped onto the stage and belted out "I call dibs on Canterlot!!!" "This isn't some field trip Cyan, we're looking for where everypony else has gone." Cyanside lowered her voice to a whisper so that nopony would think she was crazy and talking to herself. "I know that silly, Canterlot's where Celestia and Luna are, they're princessess AND part pegasus, so they're probably still around to tell us what's going on." "You know...that's actually quite smart." "That and the pegasus leading them has a cutie mark sorta like ours" "And there we have the actual reason.
(Ok, till Cobrabrony goes back to being active, I'll move this along a bit.) The groups ended up seemingly the same size. Rainbow Dash and her group where the first to leave, giving the others time to Socialise. Dark Shine went up to each pony and gave them 100 bits each. "If there is any Pegasi Merchants along the way, you can get some stuff. We leave tommorrow morning. Till then, socialise and get any gear from abandoned shops."
"Hey, hiya hiya hiya." Cyanside bounces after the Pegasus just as they were leaving. "I heard you're going to be going to Canterlot too, we're going to have so much fun, and did we just get permission to ransack all the shops?" Cyanside stops talking for a moment to giggle to herself. "Anyway, my names Cyanside, or Cyan for short, That's what Shadow calls me anyway. What's yours?"
"Sunny" she said, shyness melting away as quickly as it had appeared. "What d'you reckon we should take?"
