i have come across many threads, fan fics, posts, etc. in many of which i have seen the smart, sweet, stupid side of my favorite pony: Derpy. i heard from somepony that she must be a terrible mother and quite frankly i disagree. please tell me im not the only one
Derpy is definitely a good mother, 20% cooler than any other mother in all of the Equestria (See? Even Rainbow Dash freaks out thinking to have a mother like Derpy, Ditzy or whatever.)
it is true that she may be clumbsy, accident prone, however you wanna put it. but one thing will always remain the same (save derpy reference) she will always love us and, not speaking for everypony, i personally will always love derpy. i give a Sentinel's word
well, I think that she'd be great parent. She may be clumsy, but that doesn't mean that she'd not kind and warm.
She might be a good mother, but I don't know nor can I have an opinion. In the show I've never seen any traces of Derpy being a parent, and characters like Dinky are fanon named and given a fanon back-story. Heck, maybe she is a good parent, but until I see her be one, I can't give a point of view.
I imagine she'd be a good one if it were ever confirmed, either way, the Dinky and Derpy pictures steal all my d'awww.
She would be a NICE parent, if there were any reason to consider her one, (she's BARELY canon, and her relations are 100% fanon) As for being a GOOD parent... I doubt it.
If Derpy being a mother was to become canon, since this is a kid's show, I doubt that they'd purposely make her a bad parent.
I'd be a little concerned about her handling an infant on her own, but I'm sure she'd be a very loving parent.
the concept that Derpy is "retarded" is long overused. the only reason they think that is because of the definition of the word "Derpy" she is just clumsy. nothing more.
