I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but i'll ask it anyway do you think Sunset Shimmer will be in Rainbow Rocks?
She might make an appearance... On one hand her reformation in EG seemed even more rushed than discord... But on the other hand... It would be kinda... Dull? If they revived her as a villain... IMO
I would like to see her in Rainbow Rocks especially since I liked her in the first Equestria Girls movie.
Well we still got six months until the movie comes out so maybe we'll see or hear something about her being in it by then.
I think it's possible that we'll see her around in Rainbow Rocks. Maybe not one of main characters, but I think she'll make short appearance.
I don't think Sunset will be returning as a villain, I saw sparks of friendship at the end of EG (maybe that was just me though). I'd imagine the villain is going to be the lead singer of a rival band, which might turn out to be Sunset (I'm not entirely sure). I'm just waiting to see how many times Pinkie Pie breaks the 4th wall in this movie. In my honest opinion, EG should have became a spin-off series starting off directly after the events of the movie (preferably filling the gap between seasons of MLP). I was actually surprised it didn't turn into a spin-off series. I guess with all the 'hate' it received anyone would be hesitant to make it into a series. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. I'd like to see a few more of the background ponies get decent roles this time around.
I wasn't asking if she would be returning as a villain I was asking if she's going to make a appearance in the movie at all.
It would be nice, but they will probably keep it to a small cameo. We would not want the series to run out of steam.
Aren't they doing a "Battle of the Bands"? I bet she'll be on one of the other competing bands and the rivalry will be renewed. Maybe try to take Flash Sentry back?
This popped up on Horse News. A tweet from Circe Luna, the Spanish voice actress for Sunset Shimmer. While there was obviously a bit lost in translation, the tweet does seem to indicate that Sunset Shimmer will reappear, and will have a song. As of now, this news is still unconfirmed, but if it is true, we will indeed be seeing Sunset Shimmer again.
Remember, the one we saw in the first movie was the Pony Sunset Shimmer. All Ponies have human counterparts on Earth. Thus, in this movie we will see the human counterpart of Sunset Shimmer. I see Human Sunset Shimmer to be the complete oppositeof her Pony counterpart: nice, mellow, relaxed and bfriendly. If there's a rivalry, it's gonna be a friendly rivalry, like the "rivalry" between Marceline and Bubblegum in "Adventure Time".
