Dragon age: Celestial Wrath

Today was the day the initiates to the Grey wardens arrived to the camp in an old fort at the south of Appleloosa. It had been a bit improvised but it did it's job to house and protect the soldiers and guards that were sent to defend Equestria from the Darkspawn.
The fort was filled with a variety of ponies, as well as other species such as griffons, zebras and some changelings that knew what was coming.

The story starts where two new initiates arrive to the fortress, who had been recently recruited by the earth pony and leader of the grey wardens, Duncan. The light grey pony found this new recruits not so long ago. He had a shiny grey armor, as well as a long sword and a dagger on his back. The first one was a unicorn that seemed quite eager to help defend equestria, as well as a zebra that he found in a tavern one day. He also found some more but this looked as the most capable and promising ones he found, so he decided to lead them himself.

As soon as they arrived to the camp, they were greeted by no other than princess Celestia herself, wearing a shiny white and golden armor.

"Duncan, my friend. You had arrived. Is good to see you." She then turned to the others. "I presume this are the new recruits you had brought." She said smiling, being escorted by a group of royal soldiers in their golden armor as normal.

"Yes Princess. Is good to see you to." He looked really calm, even for somepony talking to royalty. "And as you said, this are the new recruits." He said turning to them, gesturing them to greet her. "This is Azure Blitz and this is Veloces." He said, moving to a side so she could see them.

This is were they started their adventure, where their lives will change for ever. What future will be made for equestria? Only time and the actions of this ponies will tell.

Celestia smiled at the offering Azure did. "No thank you Miss...."

"Azure." Duncan said.

"....Azure. I must remain active and ready for anything." She said smiling. "But perhaps later, after this war is over, we can drink if you wish. And it will go on me." She finally said before looking to the other one. The zebra. "Oh, you are the silent type, am I right? Is alright." She finally turned to Duncan. "Things are going pretty well and we have won several battles. Im starting to think this isn't a real blight" She said.

"Yes princess, but we must keep our guard up. We don't know what they have for us." He said.

"In any case, I must head back to the planning our next battle. Good bye everypony." She said with a gentle smile before heading into the fortress.

"Lets go." Duncan said to the Azure and Veloces before starting to walk. The fortress was made in a way that there was a bridge that connected the main area where almost all the camp was to another one where a tall tower was, as well as the entrance to the fortes itself. Below the bridge were some barricades as well as soldiers and other weapons such as balistas to defend the lower part, where most of the battle would take place. Above, on top of the bridge, were several ponies and other balistas getting ready to give range support to the ponies fighting. Duncan lead them trough that bridge to the camp.

"Now, in order to become grey wardens you must first pass a test. But before that I need you to go and get somepony for it. You will find her at the eastern side of the camp. She is a unicorn named Midnight Lullaby, you will know when you find her, she... can be easily identified." He limited himself to say. "Once you have her, meet me at the west part of the camp, in a tent beside a campfire." he said once they were half through the bridge, then left, leaving Azure and Veloces alone to do what he asked them to.

After Duncan left, he saw the other pony he recruited Stealthy Dagger. He walked towards Dagger. "Meet me in my tent at the west side of the camp." he said, then left to his tent.

 

If there was a word that described the mare Azure had before her, it was: beautiful. Lullaby was a unicorn with a charcoal coat and a light blue mane. She was really, really beautiful and had a charming voice. She could see why Duncan said they could easily identify her. There ware not that many mares around the camp, and she was the most beautiful one of them. "Oh..." She turned around to see Azure after finishing talking to a pony in a grey and purple armor that appeared to be of some sort of holy knight or something like that. A templar, mage killing fighters. "Yeah, that would be me. I'm Midnight Lullaby, nice to meet you." She said smiling to Azure as she saw what she was drinking. She then turned around and saw a Zebra. Something you don't see every day. She then turned to Azure. "I suppose you and the zebra over there are the new recruits that Duncan brought, am I right?" She asked smiling to her. Still, they could feel some sort of strong magic coming from her, odd for a normal unicorn.


Duncan turned to Dagger as soon as she walked in. "Hmm... the initiation will begin shortly and some other ponies will come here, so we should wait for them so all of you can start the initiation." He said to her. "As soon as they arrive I will tell you what you have to do. In the mean time, take a seat and grab something to eat if you wish." He said as he brought a plate with some food and some water.

 

"Huh?" Lullaby said after hearing something from Azure and looking at how she was right now. "Oh, alright." She smiled. "Anyways, I'm sure Duncan sent you here. Lets go with him." She said to both as she then lead them to the tent where Duncan and Dagger were.

Once they arrived, Duncan looked to them. "Oh, I see you arrived." he said as he stood up. He then looked to Lullaby, then back to the team. "Alright. We can start the initiation. I need you first to go to the small forest at the side of the fortress to get the blood of some Darkspawn." He started saying. "You will fill this bottles with it and when you are done, come back here. I will tell the guard to open the gate for you." he said calmly, then remembered something. "Also, there is an old tower inside it, with a chest that only a grey warden can open, so Lullaby will go with you to get it. It is really important you get them. Do you understand?"

Lullaby nodded. "Sure. get the blood and the documents. Got it!" She said smiling.

 

After a few minutes of walking, they arrived to some gates with a guard and a dog. "Duncan told me you have business in the forest. I will open the gate for you." He said, the opened the wooden gate for them to exit the fortress.

Lullaby smiled. "Thank you." She said smiling, then lead the group to the forest.

the forest was a bit dark and looked to be located near a swamp since there was a lot of water and it felt humid. Lullaby took out a map and tried to see where the documents were located according to Duncan, ignoring what the other ponies were doing or saying for that moment.
