Equinox waited quietly at a small coffee shop in Canterlot, bringing black tea, waiting for the new partner she had decided on, hoping they wouldn't chicken out like the last three
A loud crashing sound echoes from outside, and a black unicorn flies through the door of the building, smoke coming off of him. He stands up, brushing himself off, and turns to look around the shop. "Note to Scale, dynamite does not make for a safe spell buffer." He walks up to Equinox and smiles. "Equinox I presume? I'm Scale Raider." He held out a hoof to her.
"So, what exactly are we doing?" Scale looks around the room again, his red eyes sparkling with interest in everything. "And how do I get to blow it up?"
"We're hunting down dragons!", equinox says excitedly,"just let me finish my tea & we'll get going..."
"Dragons? Sweeeeeet. I remember my last meeting with an adult dragon. The beast ate my sister. This should be so fun!" Scale turns to his side-bag and counts out several sticks of dynamite. "Should be enough to last for a while. What are we aiming to do? Kill them? Capture them?"
"Both, it all depends on their age & size, also, you may need more...", equinox replies, finishing her tea, a dropping the cup on the ground, then walks out
Scale rushes out after her. "Really think so? What, are we going against Krackle or something?" He laughs a little and rummages through his bags again.
Scale jumps up and his horn lets out white sparks. A huge gust of wind kicks up and sends him onto the roof behind her. "In that case I will need more... but I can worry about that later."
"Alright then, lets get a move on!", equinox says, strapping a saddle bag to her right side, then running rooftop to rooftop
Scale follows closely behind her, conjuring the wind again should a jump be too large for him to make naturally.
Scale simply leaps off the building, brown sparks coming off his horn as he lands causing the earth to become rubbery underneath him, softening his fall, before returning to normal. "Where are we going?" (alright.)
"A small store house...", equinox replies, jumping off the edge of Canterlot, & teleporting underneath it
Scale skids to a stop at the ledge, looking over the side. "Uh... Alright then." He grabs the ledge and jumps, swinging around so his legs rest against the side. He lets go with his hoof and slides down the side, grabbing the lip at the opening beneath and flipping to a landing spot next to Equinox. "Try to pick a place easier to get to next time, eh?" He laughs.
Scale follows behind her, his horn sparking red as a fire lights up the tip illuminating the cave. "This is... Out of place."
"A giant cave under Canterlot... The crystal caverns under the crystal kingdom... Does the changeling hive have a cave system beneath it too?"
