I went out sailing off of Fort Lauderdale Beach on Sunday and took a bunch of photos, so I thought I'd share them with everyone. It was a beautiful day out and the wind was pretty much perfect, you couldn't have asked for a nicer day to be out on the water. I'm going to put the pictures in spoiler tags so you can load them when you want. Descriptions added, some pics got redundant for what they show so I didn't comment, but they are still quite pretty! Spoiler: Click me for the photos This is the boat at the dock before we went out, guy in the red shirt is a friend of the guy who owns the boat from their sailing club. Same thing, boat before we left. More boat prep, guy leaning over is my friend, the boat's owner. Leaving the dock by Las Olas Boulevard. Looking back at the dock. A neat looking all black boat that was cruising out near us. Looking towards the front of the sailboat from where we sit. Motoring out on the Intracoastal Waterway. More cruise ships The Pier 66 hotel is in the background A parasailor off in the distance, we are almost out of the port here. Sails are out and we are moving! look at the horizon and how tilted we were Maxed out at 9.8 knots, not bad for a 34 foot sailboat! Off to the right is the Hollywood Beach skyline I believe. The radiant blue skies of Florida are a much better contrast in comparison to the murky grey skies of Staffordshire! And them boats, so big and white and pretty. Even the houses and the trees seem to shine! Why is everything in Florida so damn pretty?! Looks like a relaxing, fun time to be had
Now I want to go to ocean city and I missed a pinkie pie party. Next time dragon go to the Bermuda triangle.
