Who are your favorite dragons in the show? Am I the only one who thinks it's unfair to chastize them for their greed when it's how they grow? And mostly they do tend to keep their own hoard of the jewels which seem to magically appear fully polished around the kingdom. Is Celestia their queen too or do they have another and if so does she only raise the sun in Equestria? Also who was Discord's father and what happened that night?

I just wish they'd stop chasing me.

I like the variety (in personality, anyway) of dragons we've seen. Spike is a baby dragon growing up. The "Dragonshy" dragon was, well, a dragon, but was rather reasonable once Fluttershy went "Mama Bear" on him. And the dragon in "Owl's Well" was a jerky jerk mcjerkface.

I do wonder of Celestia's relationship with dragons (I assume they're welcome as long as they don't cause trouble, like the "Dragonshy" dragon did, albeit unintentionally). Come to think of it, do the dragons in the FiM universe have a government at all or are they all just independent? It'd be cool if they had some representation of some sort in Equestria...

Also, how does the whole growing and maturing thing work? I was left a little confused after the Spike episode of late.

Do we consider the dragon from the second episode of the first season that Rarity gives part of her mane to a dragon? Or is he some other creature?

Twilight Sparkle referred to him as a "Sorrowful Serpent", so I'm thinking more Sea Serpent than Dragon, or she may have just been using alliteration.

Magnet is a sea serpent, and he does not count as a Dragon, and Discord is a draconequs or something.
I'm sure there might be more friendly dragons about. Greed speeds up their growth apparently, but whether it stops it or not I don't know, so it's unlikely they've all grown like that- Some may have matured the slower, greed-less way and would probably be very nice and kind.
    Yay kindness!!

But in all seriousness, probably the one that was causing the smoke that was exiting the mountain.

It's not like Spike has wings either. I think the river guy counts as a dragon.

For those wondering, the child of a dragon and a unicorn such as Spike and Rarity would be a Kirin.

Curious about what? You can't just ask random questyions and expet people to know what you mean.

Does the Loch Ness Monster count as a dragon? 'Cause I think they're in the same boat.

Yes, along with every dinosaur ever. Calling dragons dinosaurs changes nothing.
