I hope you guys participate in this small contest! Basically, draw yourself as a mlp style pony. Feel free to ask any questions or contribute a prize. RULES: -Don't draw your OC unless it really is based on you. Like, do you really wear goggles all the time and have demon fish wings lol? (Not criticizing OCs, just want an original submission that isn't insane). I don't want ridiculously complex designs, but will be judging on good design....like take Dr Whooves/other show designs as an example of what I may be looking for. You may have crazy colors or anything you feel that represents who you are. (Like if you like to eat tacos, you could have a taco cutie mark with a sombrero) -Will be grading based on design rather than artistic skill, though I want to see some effort put in. -Your entry must be in color. You must draw the entry yourself and it shouldn't be a drawing you made before this contest (you may use/modify an OC pony of yours if it really is based on yourself and just draw the OC again for the contest) -Feel free to add any text/name/any bio info or backstory. Deadline....I'll set it to 4/5/12, though this can change depending on who needs time. Prizes will be becoming a mod lol drawing one request of yours and drawing the pony you created for the contest. I may add more depending on the # of entries. May also have judges if there are alot of entries. EX: An actual entry would need a cutie mark or a full body picture. No colour? I can understand that line-art looks incomplete, but some my want to create a black and white image with shading and such?
If you want to submit a black and white one with shading, you can. I added the color requirement mainly because most ponies have alot of eye popping color. (except for Zecora lol but she has accessories with color). I consider some detail forms of shadings to be almost coloring.
So if I draw my OC self I can't be a pegasus. I mean I don't really have wings but that's how he is. I'll be joining anyway though. Hopefully this goes better then the last one. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
How do we submit our entry, do we just post it in this thread? Also why would it need a backstory if it's our pony-self? Do we just like, give some backstory on our actual lives?

You can be a pegasus or an unicorn if you want, sorry if I didn't make that clear (though maybe say what you'd use your wings/horn for). Backstory is not required, though if you have some story about yourself that you want to share and if it relates to your drawing, that is fine . You can even make up a story about yourself if you want lol since I don't know you guys in real life. Mainly the info page is your traits or about your personality. Even if you have a boring life, that is ok too XD. I'm grading more based on the drawing than any story or info. Thanks for being interested in the contest, guys . She did have a lot once- She was like the Pinkie Pie X Fluttershy of her lands in the past- She was generally shy at first but then got more and more outgoing the more you got to know her- but something changed- Something no one, not even herself understood. Her friends all disappeared without a word, leaving her hurt and confused. She changed that day, becoming the Tea she is now. She can be happy though- She loves drinking at the pub, drawing (badly), drinking tea, and singing (again, badly). Her cutie mark is a bit of an unknown really, mostly because I hate having 'human' objects as a pony's cutie mark, and the X sort of represents her feelings or something. I dunno :B

All you need to do is place image tags around the image URL. So, for example: Take this image here: http://images.mylittlefacewhen.com/media/f/rsz/mlfw1892_small.jpg (Yes, I always love to use Pinkie Pie examples. ) To post that image, all you need to do is post the following: [noparse][/noparse] And you'll get this: Just make sure that the URL ends in an image extension (i.e., .jpg, .png, .gif) and not a directory. In other words, use the direct link to the image as provided by Imageshack. I hope that helps! ^_^
NAME: Sinderskully INFO: Initially, I thought that my pony self would have a purple coat because I live and die in that colour, and I wear it mostly all the time. But then, I chose white because of my naturally pale skin. My eyes are big, blue and despite my age I have a very childlike appearance naturally. I have an indulgent interest in self-made piercings and skulls, as well as DIY accessory creating such as my spiked headband (which I have made and worn in real life). I can imagine myself as an eccentric Pegasus pony for my love of freedom and imagination, but also because people have described me of ‘living in the clouds’ (Cloudsdale!) My mane is my natural hair colour, and I have a big obsession with stripes and colour co-ordination. The cutie mark is something I made to illustrate and symbolise humanitarianism. It's supposed to look like the peace symbol, but also illustrate a person with arms open with their head held high. It could also portray a person pushing away something restricting them to support and stand for the Humanitarianism beliefs. I chose to do this because it’s something incredibly personal to me. I follow the ideals of Humanitarianism and incorporate its ideas in my everyday life as I strive to encourage love, tolerance and diversity to rule over hatred, discrimination and generalisation so that we can make a friendlier and more insightful, considerate way to live. Oh, thank you! It was hand drawn and coloured, and usually there are a lot more inaccuracies in my non-digital work, but I'm so glad that you like it! It could have been a lot better, but I'm satisfied that it defines me and my purpose~
Aww, why thank you very kindly! I've managed to emancipate and emerge out of a horribly ignorant and enclosed state of mind, and am embracing my love for spreading equality and encouraging people to grow as they like without oppression and restrictions. Such would be a perfect world~! C:
