That awkward moment when one of your best friends offers you a Rainbow Cupcake she made..... and you don't know if you should be nice and force yourself eat it or just say "Eh..Thanks but I'm trying to.... not eat so much... sweets.. and I actually feel a little sick right now, bye!" Yeah, I didn't take "Cupcakes" so well.
Ah that so called "Horror" fic. I read it and it really bored me, but that's me. If I were you I would just politely decline.
I liked the clever humor in it. It's not meant to be taken seriously, but fanfics generally don't bother.
I would've politely declined. I've yet to find a fanfic that affects me. My little Dashie didn't make me cry, Cupcakes and Sweet Apple Massacre didn't make me scared, Spiderses made me laugh but that doesn't really count.
"Cupcakes" didn't scare me, it was wierd, but it was all the fan art and the animations that made me feel a little sick.. xD
I didn't read the whole thing and wish I hadn't read what I did, but even if I had read everything I don't think a regular cupcake with Rainbow dash's cutie mark would bother me. Thing is I don't like that many sweet pastries anyway. I like Muffins better, yay Derpy!
I haven't read cupcakes (so bear with me), but I think people are kinda overreacting a little too much. I know what happens in the story, I've seen summaries and whatnot. But it doesn't even sound that scary. It sounds...stupid, so I'm not even going to read it.
cupcakes were bad, but not worse I've seen, but defiantly not so bad that I wouldn't be able to eat cupcakes irl, and make referenced jokes. maybe try telling that you don't want to eat ponies, (as in referenced to cupcakes)
This post was actually not suposed to be taken so very seriously I think that if I have told her about the fanfic, she would think that the whole fanbase is a bit loko in the coco. And she already think I'm a bit wierd for watching the show, so I decided to not make it any worse And I do think the fanfic is a bit creepy(what, should I like bounce around and sing after reading it?^^), but I also think it is very well written. Aaand, I ate that cupcake, it was delicios! xD Brohoof everypony*
I don't get emotionally attached to fanon, to the point that I can't enjoy things like Rainbow cupcakes. I actually think such behaviour is a bit irrational and childish to be honest.

If you don't want to read it, just don't. Heh. I read Cupcakes and yes, it did gross me out a little bit, but it didn't scar me or anything. I never looked at Pinkie Pie differently because of it nor am I afraid of cupcakes with rainbow colored cake and light blue icing. To be honest, I think that'd be funny to make cupcakes like that, but I suppose that's just my sense of humor. Whenever I eat cupcakes of any kind, I do think of the story, but it's nothing more than a passing thought and a giggle. It's not real, after all (the story, that is. The cupcakes, however, are sweet and tasty).
