    Oh hai, i'm not really all that new,I'v been on this for a wile now but i only just now found this part of the site (derp) I'm vary lost and it would be awesome if someone would tell me how to do those mlp emoticons or just give me some pointers in general. Thanks

    Hello! Welcome to Everypony! First what I would recommend is go to Settings (link in upper right hand corner) then go to General Settings. Scroll to the bottom and enable the Enhanced Interface. You'll get some extra formatting tools and an emoticon button in the post box. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
