Ok! I was bored and looked all the way back towards the RP section and found this I read it and was amazed so I was thinking of reviving it yu don't need a bio you just join here I copy and pasted the rules of it! Hello, and welcome to the Arena! Within, you will find all sorts of dangerous foes, and great adventure to be had! To play: Precede your command with ">>>". I'll roll a 10-sided die to decide whether or not it works. Any player who wants to join will be allowed to play. You start off with 1000 HP. The enemies almost always have more, but that's only to make teamwork and ingenuity more important. Numbers lower than 5 have negative effects, 5 does nothing, and numbers higher than 5 have a positive effect. The effect is stronger, depending on both the action and the number I roll. 10 is a critical: it has incredible effects. 1 is a failure: you may or may not burst into flames, or something equally ridiculous. Please, be as creative as possible with your commands! It's no fun if I don't have anything to work with. ((So if anyone would like to join or make comments just post it! The original owner is TectonInd so if should ever come back online he can disband or let me take over))
I'll help get his thing rolling but I honestly have no clue as how to begin. I think a demonstration would be in order or at least a tag team so that thugs just get going altogether.
Well ok but I will still give the example so it goes like this so lets pretend I am in the arena version I don't know 3 imps. Edge: 2000 HP Imp (1):750 Imp (2):750 Imp (3):750 Ok so then I attack with whatever weapon I have and lets sat it is a bow and arrow so then I do this >>> I take out a long steel bow with gears and pistons bulging out of it I push a few buttons and the bow fires 3 arrows at Imp 1. Ok when I see that I will do this >>> I take out a long steel bow with gears and pistons bulging out of it I push a few buttons and the bow fires 3 arrows at Imp 1. Roll 1: (EPIC FAIL) - The imp clearly sees the arrows come straight towards him and by luck he catches the arrows the other 2 imps take out their bow and arrows and fired the arrows back at Edge. Edge wasn't quick enough and the one of the arrows went straight into the knee he cries in pain causing (200 damage) the second arrow hit the side of his chest causing a whopper of (300 damage). You better get a medic!
You know, here's an idea. If an enemy is distracted or has the upper hand you could probably add +1 or +2 to a roll or -1 or -2 to a roll depending on the circumstance. Like when my clone was tied up that would obviously be a +2, while now that he's handicapped it would be a +1. The same would be when a hero gets maimed in a similar way or takes a really hard impact to their body slowing them down slightly giving the roll negatives instead.
