Good Day everypony. With confirmation from both (former) administrators of this site, Foxytail and Grey Knightmare, Grey and I have created the Everypony Review Team. The goal of the Everypony Review Team is to dedicate time to reviewing, brainstorming, and suggesting ideas for EP's further refinement. To apply for a position in the Everypony Review Team, post here in the topic giving a detailed reason why you want to join the group, and, depending on your status on the site and dedication to the job, you will be added to the group. All applications will go to me. I will determine if you would be a benefit to have. Everyone deserves a chance, but there are some criteria I'd like you to follow first. Here's a list of criteria for potential subjects of this little group; 1. Must be Active on the Site 2. Must be Active in the Group (Not participating in 3 consecutive rulings will result in removal.) 3. Be Mature and Reasonable in addressing problems 4. Don't join the group 'for teh lulz' (Application WILL be rejected.) 5. Anything else covered in the Rules section of Everypony must be followed or it will result in immediate removal from the group. 6. When a common consensus for a problem is established, I will give the results to the current administrators. They will determine if a suggestion is good or not in private, away from other staff members to prevent potential staff uproars and fighting. 7. THE GROUP'S WORD IS NOT FINAL. Just because we come to a conclusion DOES NOT mean that the administrators will follow through if they think it isn't well for the site. I see. A sort of "community watch" group. I am behind this 100% and would like to join. This will be a way to get the community involved and be able to express themselves openly, but still under guidelines. Perhaps we should do open polls for certain things and what-not in order to get an opinion on things as well. I also suggest since this group is new, that we establish a "round table" so that we can discuss things and to establish small meetings on certain days. That way, the more organized we are, the easier it'll be to get things done and the easier it'll be to make quick and important decisions.
Get discussing inside the group then =D It's more of a community input rather than watch, get your voices to the admins in terms of site development.
I'd like to throw my hat in to this, but as far as giving a detail list of reasons why I should be allowed to join, that I can't do. I horrible with words, just look at my actions over the last 7 months, let them be application.
I want and would like to help the site out in any possible way, but I fear I wouldn't be of much help in such a case as this. I am a problem solver (its what I'm born to do) but coming up with ideas is something that I lack, as others on this site know I have said (but who might think otherwise). I guess I could give it a shot, but perhaps it would be best to not expect too much from me. I am under constant pressure from all angles which may impact judgement than if I was in a different situation, and perhaps a different state of mind. I can admit that I haven't been the best member on the site, and I've kept opinions on such matters on previous grounds to myself, for fear of escalating drama. Ah, perhaps I'm too timid and humble for the job, take it as you will. I will be fine with it either way.
This sounds like an excellent way to contribute to the site, so here is my request to join. I'm glad the site has been around for a little over a year, and I would definitely like to contribute to helping it out so it will enjoy many more years. I have spotted technical issues and pointed these out in the past, and am willing to continue doing this and more. I feel I'm fairly active on the site (could post a bit more in some of the other sections), can set aside some time to be active in the group, I abide by the rules on the site, and consider myself to be mature in handling situations. If you'll have me, I very much appreciate it. If not, I can't wait to see what improvements come about.
A problem solver is actually something that would be needed, though the angle thing you mentioned could be an issue. I say COULD though. Sometimes looking at things from different angles can give us insight of different directions. Though if you were to join, you can not be humble. Nopony will judge you on the spot if you tell us something that someone may disagree with. We will handle all discussions in a civil, respectful manner. If somepony sees an issue with something somepony brings up in discussion, then we will discuss it and work out why it will or won't work as a whole. If you say that we should kick puppies, and somepony disagrees, they will say why they disagree and not say you're an idiot. Perhaps you have a very valid reason for kicking puppies. We don't know. lol (Not saying you like to kick puppies btw. :derpe I personally think we should let you join. The fact that you want to help matters, but you must understand that these are serious discussions, but taken in a calm environment.
Just to clarify: All applicants will have to clear through Grey and myself to be accepted. Grey has the final say as to who gets in, but I do advise as to my opinion on whether they would be beneficial to the group or not. So far, all applicants are awesome, so keep it up! When Grey wakes up, I'll link him all applications!
I have seen you around the forums a few times Lightning, and I also have some past experience with you directly, so I know that you are mature in handling situations. I personally don't mind you joining, so you have my vote. As for the others; since they weren't there when I talked to you, they might need more info. Also. I say this thread should be stickied for anypony else that may be interested.
Wait, I can help the community without the limitations of being staff again? I would even apply, if not for my obviously flawed reputation. Besides, what I can say about myself is nothing compared to what I did and participated in. It is nothing compared to the opinions all involved have of me, which I am sure are, at the very least, not insignificant in strength. Strong enough that I can't change them with mere words at least.

I would like to apply for a position on the review team. I have been a long time forum goer (As you all know :derpe, but I have not been very active at all with the community and I feel like I should be doing more. I hope that I can help this community in any way possible. (See what I did there, Pixel?:derpe)
Adding more stuff: For clarification, Participating in a ruling is as simple as voicing your opinion on the matter, no fancy surveys or whatever. You can even just say 'The idea is good.' or 'I don't like this idea.' and be done with it. However, do try to explain why or why not you think the idea is good/bad. The time between rulings vary, and for some that last less than 24 hours, there will be no penalty for not participating. By Mature and Reasonable, we mean make valid points and don't shove opinions in other's faces. Constant bickering and bigotry -will- get you removed. That's about it. Keep them coming!
While I'm more a lurker then a active poster, I do have many ideas that I think would to share as a way to help the community and every pony on the site. While I under if my low post count makes me unqualified, I thought I would post here and ask for permission anyway, since I really would like to see this site thrive in new and creative ways.
i guess i.ll throw my hat in the ring myself, tho i have no smarts in computers i always fashioned myself as a idea man my application consist of nothing but what you've seen of me on the forums and my two years of building two house's back at highschool

Blimey! I thought this was something entirely different there.... I wonder aimlessly around the internet and reckon I've seen a few interesting forums systems to gleam some idea on suggestions as well as create my own. Count me in. I'm as regular as clockwork, follow rules and I think I've proved I can create a half-cohesive argument on this site. On an unrelated note: Saikyo, your avatar is awesome!
