Wow, no responses to this great episode? I'm surprised. This episode has several great moments. The interaction between Rarity and Applejack is great, Twilight's wanting to have a slumber party by the book is so perfectly Twilight! On a related note, this episode gives me the impression that Applejack and Rarity are the two oldest ponies of the Mane Six. Something about their reaction to a slumber party that just suggests they think of themselves as too old for that sort of thing. Oh, sure, some of that is the idea of spending the night with the other, but from they way they act in other episodes, it just seems like they're the two oldest - maybe with Applejack being the oldest.
This episode disserves more discussion. I certainly hope it wasn't the pillow war. Too violent? Anyway, this is the episode David and I are examining in this week's Brony Quest. Have a listen, and hopefully generate some talk about this apparently overlooked episode.
