EPR-MEDIA, PRE-RELEASE Configuration is done, all the errors (seemingly) have been squashed and EPR Media is rearing to go, the only thing that's taking a while and is still going to take a while is the transferring of the Livestream Archive (considering we are purging copyright/inappropriate content as we go). So rather than hold off for another week, two or three (perhaps even four!) Oatmeal managed to persuade me to open EPR Media for viewing purposes only, a little earlier than intended. The section, while making our life easier is primarily for you guys so you can browse, rate and listen to music as and when you please. So as you can imagine it's quite important for us to see if it's meeting your expectations. Now admittedly there is very, very little we can change at this late stage, just simple things like submission options, usergroup permissions and the page layouts (to some degree) but if you spot something you don't like or could be done better, do let us know, if we can fix it we will and if not we'll most certainly try but do please, please, please consider this as a kind of 'beta', we do want and need feedback, that's why we're doing this so if you could take just five minutes to come back and post what you think (good or bad) I'd be inexpressibly appreciative, thank you and enjoy Things to Note: You cannot submit tracks or open artist accounts Very few songs/artists have been uploaded/are accessible You cannot comment on tracks You CAN rate tracks. You CAN search for tracks. Any other questions? now to find a way to directly integrate the rating system into the player's page. In the mean while...
Well, only issues I have with it are that we can't comment on tracks or rate the players pages. Plus not all the artists/songs are uploaded, but I'm sure that will be fixed in due time--we (or, at least, most of us) can be patient! Other than that, it's SO. AWESOME.
