I...don't like this special. First of all, I don't like when the Humane Seven (or the Mane Six, for that matter) get angry at each other. And that's my first problem: every single one of them spent most of their time in sulking angry mode. I felt like they were gonna turn into the Hulk any minute. Seeing them so pissy at each other was just unpleasant. And second...I don't like this special talking trash about online friends. I have Asperger's, and have trouble socializing. So, outside of my family, my best friends are all online. Saying that online friendship isn't worth it feels like the special is spitting on my face. It's the same reason why I hate the "Giffany" episode of "Gravity Falls": this message that online friendships are not OK and "don't count". Overall, a massive dip in quality from the last special.
...That's not quite what they're trying to say. The message I got from it was less "friends made through social media are bad" and more "judge friends by their actions, not their mouse clicks". Bit of a difference there when you stop to think about it. I'd talk more about this, but then I'd just be flying off topic. Let's leave it at that, shall we?

Rarity: No. AJ: Then I will ruin everything. *proceeds to do so* (Ok, not really. But she did get all uppity when Rarity was trying to work. You don't see Rarity coming to the farm and slapping the straw out of AJ's mouth while she's doing farm work, do you?)
